1 Trade. 1 Hat. A hell of a lot of offers.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9149210
This trade, exactly like the price suggestion, is 4 months old. There have been little GE L'Inspecteurs on the market in this time, so this trade, taking offers from all ends of the unusual trader spectrum, should create a valid range. Let's dive in....
I'll be looking exclusively at 1 month old or newer offers. Anything less would make for a dated suggestion.
v Low End v
Plenty of offers of 1 bud, immediately ignored.
Offer of a max's x 2, rejected yet already higher than top value of the current range. (Min range)
Plenty of unusual and item offers between 1.5 & 2.5, check them all out if you wish
PE Mullet + 8 keys 2.2ish
2.3 pure rejected
2 buds + TS Bill's (2.4ish, rejected)
60 keys (2.7ish) - to save time, everything on this trade has either been rejected or ignored
3 buds, then 3 + TS Bill's (3.4, max range), *cough* stubborn trade owner *cough*
^ High End ^
The range from all of this beeeeeinnggggg:
2.2-3.4 (I apologize for huge range, leave a comment suggesting improvements if you wish)
Thanks for reading and be sure to comment, let me know if proof could be improved and/or range edited, will gladly resubmit.
Edit: Just realised that this hat is rare, 2 in existence. Welp, I guess that further accounts for this higher price range. Meh.
