Suggestion: Tour of Duty Ticket at 2.22–2.33 ref

Its overly easy to find people paying 2.33 refined and even people actively looking to pay more. The point of backpack.tf is not to convey every single price, its to convey the average price or where the majority of sales occur. More buyers that aren't listed:

May I pose a question? With so many people paying 2.33 refined, how many sales do you think truly occur at 2.11 refined for it to be justified in range comparable to the sales at 2.22 refined, 2.33 refined and even those not in the range between 2.44-2.66 refined?

Most of these people aren't buying for 2.33 refined for personal use, its because they know they can sell for more than 2.33 refined. If you do not want the people who less frequently deal with ToD tickets to settle for less than they could actually get, then be my guest, but your the one allowing people to actually be ripped off of the value of their items.

Really old trades are still being bumped claiming to sell at 2.22, and there stock is 0. Quite frankly I care not if this gets past, If the price stays low then It'll be that much easier for me to restock lol

I sold one for 2.22 with a fair ammount of ease, but I'm seeing plenty of 2.11 for sale in the classifieds...

I see 1 in the classifieds for 2.11 refined that won't accept a friend request and I also see sales occurring above my suggested range as well. One sale does not equal market value.

when I posted that there were 5 up for 2.11 it looks like they've all sold now but one, which would suggest a higher price. There is one up for 2 ref at the moment but I doubt it'll be up there for long and one for 2.11. I don't know about this... I still feel like 2.11 is possible. More trades seem to be happening on the high end but it's still possible to get them at 2.11...

...if multiple people are actively trying to buy for the highest amount, then wouldn't that seem to be a fairly good indicator that sellers are not frequently selling for the low-end and actually more likely Tour of Duty tickets are most likely also selling for higher than 2.33 refined?

You are asking if any are sold, that wouldnt really make sense considering they are buyers and not sellers.

im surpriced to see even how hard it is to get some for 2.33 ref. went ahead and searched because i want some, and every bumped trade is sold out at 2.33.

yeah, andy was telling me he had sold a couple for 2.66 refined this week which is what had got me interested. He was also whining because no one was selling to him for 2 refined.

People are also buying and selling at 2.66 refined. Therefore by your logic the range should be 2-2.66 refined which would be far too large. The point of backpack.tf is not to include every single price an item may happen to be sold at, but where the majority of sales occur.

I'm unsure on this one. While there are more people selling at the high range yesterday I picked up two tickets; one for 2.11 and one for 2 ref flat. Also added another guy that was selling for 2 flat but was out of stock by the time he added me.

Sure they might have been quicksells but if 2.11 and below are quicksells then a whole lot of people are quicksellers.

5.6 * 0.4 = 2.24:D 2.11 and 2.00 is possible for tickets, 1.22 is possible for craft hats as well. I believe we should wait till keys go up a bit to change the price, because they are pretty related with ToD tickets. Mods, please, give this suggestion a couple of days. Baloo cheers!

The price of keys in the store relative to the price of Tour of Duty tickets in the store is not valid counter-proof. Why the hell is no one paying 4 keys for an uncraftable Pomson 6000? That's what it should be worth (if it weren't on sale, and even then it should be 2 keys). Store price =/= in-game price. Weak argument and no legitimate counterproof.

there IS a slight correlation with CONSUMABLE items between store price and game price. When backpack expanders fell in the store they fell the same amount (percentage) in the game. However, there is no correlation between keys and tickets XD

If you want to claim of sales at 2 and 2.11 refined, then yes, that'd be a counterproof comment, and yours lacks any links proving your theory and your claims of sales.

I already asked steam support, and I'm doing everything I can right now, you'd be doing the same as I would had this been your account that got hacked.

I never posted here when my account was hijacked. I just opened a Steam Support ticket and shut my trap. Also I doubt you were hacked. You were probably phished.

And you'd be doing this if YOUR backpack was worth over 17 buds.

This actually looks legit. I checked his backpack and it dropped something like 1500 refined since two days ago.

I appreciate your concern, and understand you guys cannot directly help me, I'm just looking for that guy whose got the know-how and what to do in situations like this. I already got a ticket from steam support and gave them every ounce of information they asked for, or that I think would be helpful. Just have my fingers crossed and hope I can get it back, along with the stolen items. Any other pieces of advice anyone could tell me would give you a good amount of karma points.

Well, if it sells above so easily and you have the proof to show that maybe it 'should' be in the range. Backpack.tf is here to accurately represent the value of goods on the market, isn't it?

Had a trade up for 6 hours, managed to buy only 2 tickets @ 2.11 ref and was easily able to resell them @ 2.44. It looks like 2.11 is a quicksell.
