I think it is time to refresh the prices a bit. The last bump was 6 months ago, there is no way the price has stayed the same since then.
1.5 is a bit low. Unless they are all being quick sold (which they aren't), 1.5 is low. 2 buds is still the most common asking price, but buyouts of 2.5 are also common.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9291192 This guy is not taking anything below 2 buds.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12372497 This person is selling for 2.5 buds.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/4332034 This person is wanting a buyout of 2.5 buds.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12420352 This person wants 2 buds for his, not a buyout, but a solid price. Doesnt want anything else.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10369155 This person lowered his buyout to 2.5 buds.
As you can see, these prices differ greatly from the old prices. The demand is higher, and the old price is inaccurate. The Smoking Unusual Charmer's Chapeau should be valued at 1.8-2.2 buds.
So..where does 1.8 buds come from?
The 1.8 is just to bring the lower end of the hat up more. People are setting their buyouts at 2.5, meaning that the actual price is felt by the community to be closer to 2 buds rather than 1.5.
Buyouts prices are not proof, and all of your links are not sold. Can you show us some sold links/offers on the trades?
At the moment, there are no sold links that I have found, however, this trend goes with most unusuals. People set their buyouts higher than what they feel the actual price should be. If some people above are selling for 2.5, well, the price of the unusual cant be that far off from. 1.5 is still VERY low regardless of whether or not the hat is sold yet. The buyouts are 2.5, but of course, the price is not 2.5. But its definitely not 1.5
Okay. Too bad that's not how it works. Sales indicate the price of an item not what it's listed at.
That is true, but just based on the wanted prices of every seller, 1.5 is way far off. Im new to backpack.tf, and I felt this was appropriate, if its not, im sorry, it wont happen again. I'm just suggesting that the lower end of the hat be set higher because no one is selling for such a low price of 1.5. What do you think? Should the price stay the same? or do you think, that the price could still be inaccurate?
The offers listed in the prices are within the current range so I don't see the need to change it unless sales do happen above the listed price. These two links provide a good explanation of when it is appropriate to make and suggestion and how to make a good one. Use these to get a better understanding. Hope this helps :)

I see your point, but you can't just go around estimating prices because of people's buyouts being higher than what it is on backpack.tf.
yes, but dont you still think that 1.5 is way too low? I know its based off of the buyouts, but, 1.5 is like, quick sell price.
You just proved that this hats price should be lowered, not heightened.
It's a b/o, 96% of the time people pay way lower......., downvote.
Downvoting my comment won't help.
L1: Unsold for 4 months
L2:Barely any offers
L3: Unsold for 10 months Recent offers: 1 bud 10 keys, SS Merry
L4: Looking for 2 buds for 3 months...
L5: No notable recent offers.. for 3 months
Clearly no desire for this unusual, so therefore your suggestion is false.
Aren't you the person who just scammed an Orbiting Fire Charmer's Chapeau with a giftwrap scam? I made a special note from your trade. "C/O Smoking Charmer's Plus 10 Keys, Meh" (http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12815869) Methinks that this is an attempt at free profit. Also, he probably won't respond here now; he's already quick-sold the scammed profit a couple of times and no longer cares about this hat.
