You need to do a few things if you want to be taken seriously:

1.) Organize your proof.

2.) Show proof at all parts of your range

3.) Make a logical argument as to why your suggested range is correct.

It looks as if you went to trade.tf, and copy and pasted every single "fair deal" trade in order to make a suggestion out of it. Downvote

But in all seriousness, the issue here is if anything below 5.55 is quicksell. Granted anything below 5.66 ref sells almost instantly, its easy to find sellers at 5.55 without stalking trade.tf. 5.44 or less don't really happen that often and when people put up a trade at that price they are gone within a minute of it being posted.

The day the key price goes down slightly, I think the world may implode... True story.

How is 1-2 scrap below the average price a quicksell? Of course they're going to sell quick because for one it's currency and two metal is unstable? Why would people want to wait around finding a good deal when they can pay a little extra so their metal doesn't further depreciate. Likewise why would sellers want to sell their keys under the price when there's plenty of people who don't mind paying a little extra to get their keys now before their metal depreciates further. Thus proves that so long as metal is still an unstable currency people are always willing to pay over backpack price to get their keys.

However because of the popularity of keys it's not fair to call keys sold slightly under the average price as a quicksell because they're always going to sell quick regardless and if people can get it for a little less then of course they're going to take it up quick so this site should accommodate that and add both values into the range. I seriously hope that trade.tf is a successor to backpack.tf because this site is corrupted with greedy people manipulating prices; anyone who says otherwise is simply in complete denial.

If you cannot do what you propose then stop trying to make fool of other people. They deserve to make the same profit as you did..

The way I see it is that lower priced key listings being counted as "quicksells" means that the grounds for getting valid proof for a key suggestion are too finicky for most people to abide with, and with it, you have a Catch-22 where the only proof you have to lower keys are always quicksells unless they take long enough to sell, and since that is pretty much impossible in a market where keys have the highest demand of anything in the economy, the constant of key prices going up will never stop.

Anyone who wants to raise the price of keys isn't really crazy. Considering that I expect Final2500's suggestion is very close to reaching a verdict, I'm going to remain neutral on this one, leaning towards a downvote, until the other one is dealt with (if at all).

I've said on the last three suggestions that the range should be increased to something like 5.33-5.77 ref. I don't think there is such a thing as a "quicksell" key since no matter the price you can sell it. I could probably list one at six ref and get a sale in less than 20 minutes.

With the sheer amount of the range I feel it should be increased.

The steam market prices also go down, for me its now €1,41, which is 20 cents cheaper then it was 2 weeks ago. Fees are included in this price. if im right are the refined metals €0,25 - € 0.27 (i use EURO's!!) if you do 1,41/0.25 then you have 5.64. And if you do 1,41/0,27 then you get 5,22. So this price definitely needs to be a bit lower.
