Proof-check:
+ = Okay; - = invalid.
Your solds proof:
1 through 7) None are sold and are younger than 24 hours, save link 4. Could easily be outliers given there's twenty pages on Outpost. -
Your unsolds proof:
8) Unsold, but only 19 Hours old. -
9) Unsold, six hours. -
10) Sold. -
11) Sold. -
12) Sold within an hour at 3.33. -
13) Sold. -
Unfortunately, Steam API is down for me so I can't provide my own trade.
Where is the problem tho !?
The point is that 3.33 is the median price. There's outliers that sell as high as 1 key sometimes, while there are some that go as low as 2.66 for this.
Your proof just isn't convincing me that 3 Ref happens so much.
Ex. for a 1 key seller:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11885659 -1 month
Ex. for a 2.66 seller :
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12967076 -didn't took a minute ! [non in bp]
That's not what I meant and you know it...
... I'll bow out of this. I think I made my point.
i know exactly what are you talking about..
you want 3.33 to be the median price but that's won't happen, sadly because its proved in the last suggestion...there is unsolds @3.66 and so its almost impossible to sell for more...things changes fast mate
Again, not what I mean.
oh wait you're considering the solds @3.33 unvaild proofs?!
the point of showing solds @3.33 is to prove that its still possible to sell @3.33
Holy psychics, Batman!
Exactly my point. They show it sells at 3.33, which also contradicts the point of dropping the price range. I think it's like your Fast Learner suggestion: Although they're not sold if people thought they could get more out of them, wouldn't they try?
But with 20 pages on Outpost, those seven trades (Compared to 400+) could be seen as outliers is all I'm saying. But you caught on quick, kudos for that.
