Last one accepted 17 hours ago. :/

      so?

So you're not allowed to make a price suggestion within 72 hours of the previous accepted one lest it's a counter-suggestion and you want it to go back to the original price...

... unless my memory fails me.

I made a zatoichi suggestion maybe less than 2 days after it was accepted doe

And quick-fix is dropping moderately fast sadly :/

          http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13002423 5 ref (new)

Au contrare to your post before editing, it would prevent prices from dropping/rising ridiculously fast, which considering most people come here for pricing guidelines, brings some stability to the market.

EDIT: Regarding the rule, the only exception to it would be regarding special treatment. (I.E. A new update, new item, etc.) Also, that post was referencing a new item; an exception.

If you are interested, read the full thread. That is the exact position Vincent took, until we discussed it and came to realize there would be so many exceptions that it would become too subjective.

If the suggested price is more accurate, given current trades, it should be accepted. It isn't our job to prevent crashes/inflation.

edit: that thread was started by me. I know what it was about. It was not specific to new items. this falls under "valve intervention" anyway.

While I know we can't stop crashes or inflation, we can at least slow them down and as one of the leading price guideline sites, it's our obligation to do so.

But I've made my point, and I'd rather not turn this into a battlefield.

                  Staying neutral... for now.

I'd just like to address your point that we are obligated to prevent crashes.

Using our power to cause or prevent any natural phenomenon is manipulation by definition. It is our obligation to document the current prices without bias.

                24 hours, it's just 72 on keys

again, no such rule is enforced (anymore). look at the previous suggestions for this item. two of them were accepted on the same day.

but I es lazy. And at least my info was better than starfall's one

It would have been better to suggest your range from the beginning not that small step by step thing which could case panic and stuff. Well not your fault though. :P

we need to stop worrying about how people interpret these things, in my opinion.

We are snowball.tf anyways. There is so much more I would like to say on this point, but I better keep it private. :S

I feel lucky that I sold mine for a key today.

Just saw 2 people post these in the classifieds in the last 10 minutes, 1 for 4.33 refined and the other for 4.66 refined. Seeing how both those prices are well under the current range, I'm sorry but JMotion is completely justified in this suggestion. Has good proof, doesn't matter the time frame of the suggestion, by the time this gets enough votes and a moderator approves it, it will be 2-3 days anyways.

              Easy upvote.
