WAHH! BUT CRAFT HATZ R 1.33! (There's actually notes too!)
Which is why I've kept it in the range. The Ellis Cap is probably one of the most hated clean hats, but is still craftable, which is why 1.33 is still in the range. Look around you though, before you scroll down to proof and attempt to find 1.44 sellers, scrap.tf is always full of them, and unless the person is die-hard looking for any craft hat, you won't get much out of an Ellis. Now, even though scrap.tf buys hats for 1.22, Ellis's are still being banked. And yes, this "breaks the 1.33 hat rule", but so do genuines. I am well aware this is unmarketable, but this hat is bound to go down one day or another. This may change hat trading all around, maybe, maybe not. This hat is no longer available to drop either, but yet there are more than almost any droppable clean hat. I am in no means trying to ruin a hat-banking buisness. You're already lowballing current price if you're buying at 1.11 or 1.22 and trying to sell at 1.33, so....
There are little to none buyers, other than http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13005734, which is a 1:1 for a normal craft hat, which could be considered 1:1.

Look at all these unsold for 1.33.

If I listed every seller for 1.33, we'd be here for days. There are quite a few that have sold too. I will update this shortly with those.
The reason I've included quicksells is to show how this hat over any other craftable hat is sold for a lower price. I do see in the foreseeable future that all craftable hats might go down, but for today, let's start with the Ellis. This is also my first price suggestion, and might be my last, unless I see another suggestion that should be made. Improvements? Suggestions? Feedback? Positive or negative is appreciated.
unfortunately i have to upvote
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10811993
bought many at 1 ref
Ignore my first comment, silly me. But that's quickbuying.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12993010 - Open seller selling a bulk amount for 1.22, 2 bookmarks.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13003318 - Open trade for 1.22.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12999892 - Open trade for 1.22.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12999665 - Open trade for 1.22.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13012746 - Open trade for 1.22.
Also note that trade.tf has it at 1.22.
This is somewhat unrelated but...
I was just wondering what the best way is to find proof of sold trades. Is it best to just bookmark the links and watch them or is there an easier, more efficient way?
Check out the good deals section of trade.tf, then search for the item you are suggesting.
What about the genuine hats though? They're 1.22-1.33, such as Wilson Weave. Ignore the fact you can place them on the Market, they're craftable.
But the price was accepted before they stopped accepting them if I'm correct. And scrap.tf buys hats for 1.22 now.
Scrap.tf also sells Ellis for 1.33 ref, and I does not look like they have sold any. If we consider the shit ton of Ellis on those bots then those unsold caps, alone, are enough as proof.
Yep, mentioned and implied that. Thank you.
Well I'll be damned, I leave for 2 weeks and look what happens. I'll check out those suggestions, disregard my comment,
If there's any suggestions other than more proof (Working on finding more), let me know.
This must really suck for the mods who have to decide the fate of craft hats lower than 1.33. Must be very conflicting.
There's always hope in trying. The rule's been broken a few times, and it's only a scrap lower, but keeps the 1.33.
Only a scrap lower...why does sound like déjà vu, to me? Oh wait key prices rising scrap by scrap...
Why genuines? Of all the unique hats, why genuines?
Marketable, hard to sell now since everyone scrambled to get it in at scrap.tf. WAI.
Look at how fast your 1.22 links sold. 10 views or under.
Those were more recent and short ones, I'm thoroughly searching for more that were open for longer. There's been some that were open for some time. You also have the people that buy anything under 1.33 and try to sell for 1.33. trade.tf shows these as a good deal since it's under the current price, and people also jump on it because of that. Regardless, thank you for the feedback and I will improve the proof.
Well the popularity of the hats could be judged by views, but how fast they sold? The sellers often end up selling these to craft hat buyers at 1.22 ref or they end up at scrap.tf bots. Look in those bots for more proof.
Scrap.tf doesn't count as proof, ~ cleverpun
Not direct proof, but surely it could change a few minds. A lot of traders trade to bank to scrap.tf, and scrap.tf DOES play a deal on the hatconomy.
Better ask cleverpun if he meant selling or buying from them. He should be able to put you on right track. There are nearly 100 ellis caps on them all waiting to be adopted, at a low price of 1.33 ref, and unlike warehouse they accept metal.
Also I am pretty much sure 99% of regular traders went to scrap.tf to dump hats for 1.33 earlier, and now for 1.22 ref. The bots are still full.
Yep, they go there for the convenience of trading with bots. Bots don't count as proof. Simple as that.
Maybe so, but scrap.tf as buying and selling creates an overall effect on the economy due to its size.
Ok, find 1.22 ellis's that don't sell within 2 seconds and you have my upvote.
Done, check my reply to the first post. Found 5 open as easy as that, going to search for more in the morning.

Ok good. Upvote now.
I agree that they go their for convenience to sell @ 1.33 and now @ 1.22 ref, but it is equally or more convenient, they offer 1:1 with other hats, to buy the ellis caps @ 1.33 ref too, and that is not happening at all; which is what this suggestion is meant to prove.
Ehh, I upvote. Most of us should have known this was going to happen.
On the other hand, if this does get accepted, other craft hats might go down to 1.22 ref :(
Thanks
crap.tfscrap.tfI get more successful sales for 1.22 than 1.33 so I also agree it should be lowered
