Despite the fact that the Widowmaker is quite an OP wep, not many people are interested in buying the Genuine version :/ (or at least in this price range). There are many still unsold, and a single sell at this price is a complete rarity in a sea full of unsolds, like here:

Other than that, sales are pretty rare, so I wasn't able to find any sold trades even at other higher prices.

A little off topic but how is it overpowered? I sold one just over 2 weeks ago for 1.33 ref: http://i.imgur.com/BjIsuTx.png So downvote from me.

The price was last updated 13 days ago, so if you sold it just over 2 weeks ago your price was based on the suggestion before the present set of prices.

Oh, and since the widowmaker basically has more ammunition and receives ammo by the amount of damage given, you can basically blast that thing for eternity as long as you hit something xD. That's why it's OP.

Yes but the current range is 1-1.33 ref so 1.33 ref was/is still within the range, I'm just showing that it's possible, there also needs to be more sellers at 1 ref, one or two won't be enough. My counter-proof is dated I'll admit that but I thought it might be a useful bit of input. Either way ima goin now so good luck with the suggestion. :3

Many are young, unbumped and have few views. They are obviously novice traders as several of them keep reposting their trade if they aren't sold in 5 mins lol

I agree it's probably hard to sell but you cannot base a suggestion just off of unsolds and a very small amount of 1 ref sellers. Link 2 has sold one of his and link 3 has also sold his. You shouldn't need other people to find proof for your suggestion.

Out of all of those, the first and second one is the only valid.

The third is too young (It has to reach the 24 hour mark) and the fourth user no longer has the item in his backpack

The fourth is one of the most valid because it obviously sold! Yes the third link is young but it's still a seller at 1 ref, proof of which you seem to be lacking right now. Young trades do not matter when they support a decrease in price because they do not need to necessarily be selling.

Oh, and I forgot to ask, how do you view old trades that have been cancelled?

To view old trades that have been cancelled click on the to view it's history then you get a list of previous owners, with an item like this the only one that matters will be the person just before the current owner, click on them and scroll through their trades and see if they sold it recently. No previous owners besides the seller means he bought Deus Ex and got the weapon first.

If you've fired 7 shots of your shotgun at an effective shotgun range you should be dead already. Widowmaker is okay in the hands of a capable engineer but the Shotgun is better because it doesn't deplete your metal reserves and 38 shells is more than enough when you'll be using your dispenser and getting ammo anyways.

True, but it's a nice way to challenge yourself. I played Engy for 2 years, and I bought one of these to sort of make my gameplay interesting. xD

Most of the unsolds are unbumped trades, and hearing a secondhand story about a guy that sold a few for the low range isn't enough for me.

Just a question, what constitutes as the amount of time it takes for a trade that hasn't bumped for it to be considered "unbumped"? Just curious (I'm a new member)

Because only one or two are over one day.

It depends on the person you talk to. Some will say 8 hours or more, for me I decide based on how long the trade is compared to last bump. For example http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13043092 is a 2 day old trade, the seller is online, but it hasn't been bumped in at least 24 hours.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12437425 is a 2 week old trade, which has not been bumped in at least 48 hours.

You can also tell if things are on autobump if a seller has a color font on their name or a donator symbol.

Alright, I edited my suggestion, got more proof (it's a response to the original suggestion), and I got a screenshot of the conversation I had with the trader.

And it now looks much better. Worth an upvote from me.

It may need to go down but I don't think 1 ref flat is right and the fact that basically nobody is buying these doesn't help either.

Offers aren't legitimate until they actually get sold :3

It shows that 1 person is willing to pay 1.11 and it's better proof than unsolds.

In some cases. also links 1, 11 and 13 are unbumped and can't be used as proof.
