Why would a 1 bud sale be an outlier?

It isn't that 1 bud is an outlier as such but the evidence is pretty insufficient to proof it was sold for exactly 1 bud with no sweets, perhaps 'outlier' was the wrong word. Also 1-1.7 buds would some out as 22-37 keys which looks kind crap as a range, whenever you enter 1 bud no matter what the subsequent high range is it always turns it into keys.

Seems a little to high for me, most normal Geisha's aren't above 1.5.

Well that's what was paid, all I can say really. People will pay what people wanna pay. This is actually 0.05 buds below the Unusual Geisha Boy average price with the new unusual averages thingy. :P

It seems that he bought a smoking Guad with the buds he got for the Geisha.

I managed to find the Guad http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11429930 He bought it for 1.5 buds.

He also has some keys and a bill's in his backpack, but we don't really know if these all were from the trade.

I'm gonna upvote this, it seems that it got sold for around the suggested price, but these are speculations, of course.

Yeah I noticed the Bill's and 16 keys, I assumed he may have sold his bud for them as the keys and Bill's equated to 24 keys which I think was still the price of buds back then. I wanted to contact teegah but he hasn't been online for 3 weeks so it seemed like a futile effort, the only person I could reach was Infamoz who confirmed the 1 bud + 10 keys and then told me the sweets that were also added which led to me changing the price, that and 1.9 buds doesn't equal 1 bud + 10 keys! xD Thanks for the extra detective work and support!

The first active trade has received an offer of a Steaming Geisha Boy + TS Bill's Hat = ~21 keys, no reply yet.

Someone recently offered to 1.8 buds on the Active Trade 2 (not original owner, that's Active Trade 1), likely 1 bud pure, not sure on what the 0.8 buds will be yet, will keep an eye on what goes down. Active Trade 2 has also dropped his buyout to 2.9 buds.
