You're in the jungle, vintages, and you're going dowwwwwwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnnn
Got mah ellow star mates! Good day!
This is the market for this item, excluding the painted ones (and oh boy are there a great many painted ones, even though this thing is TS by default) and the "special levels" that nobody honestly cares about. I assure you, painted ones are suffering the same fate, you can get black or white painted ones for 4 keys flat on Outpost. Anyhow, on to the other proof.
Selling/sold under current range
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12093840 3 keys
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13189621 Sold for 3 keys, I guess you could call it a quicksale, but look at who bought it.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13179041 My trade, 3 keys and 2 ref. Had it up for about 30 hours, no interest, sold it on Steam Market.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13089371 3 keys 2 ref, "quickseller" trying to sell for 3 days
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12966056 3.5 keys, kind of hilarious description since it's listed here. Trying to "quicksell" for 1 week.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13200944 3 keys 3 ref
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12917562 3 keys 3 ref, unsold 1 week
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13018670 3.75 keys
Unsold at current range
http://backpack.tf/classifieds/search/150/3/0 A slew of unsolds in the classifieds, many of them painted asking for 4 keys flat.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13207471 4 keys, really young, but if the other trades are any indication, it'll be there for awhile.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13201898 4 keys unsold 5 hours

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12952577 4 keys unsold 1 week
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12875200 4 keys unsold 1 week
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12186867 4 keys unsold 1 month (I actually bought this thing from him the other day for 2 keys worth of items from another game, seller told me "I don't have the patience to sell it.)
Buyers that appear to be having success offering under current range
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12914677 Apparently bought enough at his quicksell price of 3 keys that he isn't buying anymore.
TL:DR: 4 keys doesn't move anymore, every now and then a 3 keys 4 ref does, but to actually reliably get rid of this thing you'll have to take less.
It appears this guy sold for 4: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13160712
We'll see how your unsolds at 4 keys turn out over the next couple days.
Check his backpack. That thing was probably used as sweets for an unusual: http://backpack.tf/id/76561198045992358?time=1374994800 -Had it then with 2 unusuals
http://backpack.tf/id/76561198045992358?time=1375081200 Doesn't have it, has 3 unusuals. He could have sold it on Steam Market too.
And I might add that I didn't use that as an unsold link.
And another edit: If you don't think these are going down why are you selling your painted one for 4 keys flat? http://imgur.com/1b3AnVO
Oh gosh. Here is why I said what I did: all your proof of unsolds >1 week are people who don't have autobump or people who are afk. That proof of unsold at 4 keys for 1 month is a guy who is clearly not trading much since he has 3 "addeds" but didn't respond to any in a timely fashion.
Now the rest of your proof is under a week old and it takes about that much time to sell vintages at the high end of bp.tf value. But w/e. This will have 90% suggestion accuracy and will certainly get accepted. So no worries there. I do appreciate that you have provided a few links for the mods to check just in case a few of those 4 key unsolds actually sell.
And I'm selling my TS for 4 cause the paint doesn't add any value for this.
What are you on about, mate? Since when do you need to have autobump to sell things? I do fine without it, and autobump can often be a moot point, since people often leave it on when they're afk/sleeping/working/otherwise not actively trading.
The 1 month guy is on my friends list, since I ended up buying the hat, and none of the adds or offers were for the tossle. And yes, he had it listed and autobumped for 1 month.
Next, you've had more than enough suggestions to know that votes have no actual bearing on whether suggestions are accepted or not. Don't even try to pull that. This suggestion will go through because this is the price that these are currently selling at.
Finally, I see that you've still neglected to respond to the point that you are currently selling one, and it might cost you a couple refined profit if this passes. All that you've done so far is give a horrible example of counterproof that does not outweigh all of the other unsold ones. This is a moot point anyhow as there is more than ample proof that a buyer can easily get one for cheaper.
Look man. I was just giving my feedback on your proof. I knew the moment I saw your proof that the week-month old links were going to be non-bumped, afk people. Your friend has two posts - "added for your tossle" - no response, "add me for trouble maker's cap" - no response. I will concede to you, however, that all those trades at >1 week have a decent number of views and comments. So they are probably getting bumped.
As to your point on votes have nothing to do with suggestions getting passed. Simply.. not.. true. In marginal cases (as is the case here), most mods ALWAYS go with the votes. Consider http://backpack.tf/vote/id/51588e044bd7b89c59000017 as one example (I've done several like these before)
Look at my bp and tell me if I care about losing 1 ref. My only goal is to give feedback on the quality of suggestions. Finding solds at 4 keys for vintages is really hard because it takes 1 week to sell them and trade.tf doesn't track that far out. I do appreciate you have listed some unsolds at 4 keys for the mods to look at when they decide. Not saying your is suggestion accurate or inaccurate. I was just giving my opinion on your proof.
And lastly, I'm selling for 4 since TS is useless on this hat if you missed that in my post above.
I'm done here. It's easy enough for the mods to click through your links above to see if any unsolds have sold.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13069087 - sold for a diamond medigun + 1 key?
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12340311 - unsold, autobumped 3 weeks
Alright, I understand your point now. I'm sorry for acting so defensive but you really came off as aggressive on your first two posts. The status of your backpack and potential profit has no bearing on the condescending and dismissive tone of your comments.
The main reason the proof isn't ideal is that there aren't too many unpainted ones out there. There are actually even older ones on Outpost (I found one trying to sell at 4 keys for 6 weeks) that I didn't include because they were so old.
Thank you for trying to help, I just ask next time you try to not sound so cheeky.
And that trade sold it for a Diamond Medi-gun. http://backpack.tf/id/76561198022812748?time=1374822000 with hat
http://backpack.tf/id/76561198022812748?time=1374908400 Without hat.
Please quote what you found was condescending and dismissive or cheeky. And I will stop using that verbage in the future. I just have no idea how my first post was seen as aggressive. It was literally one line that was very neutral. And it elicited a huge response from you that i wanted to address fully. If anything, your response - If you don't think these are going down why are you selling your painted one for 4 keys flat? http://imgur.com/1b3AnVO - was aggressive
It's mainly this one that I mistook, specifically "But whatever... this will get accepted. So no worries there."
Again, sorry I misunderstood what you were trying to say.
Look, I apologized for my response. Clearly I wasn't the only one that made that mistake. I notice now that you were trying to help. No need to edit or discuss this matter further. I'm sorry again, I misunderstood what you were saying. Let's move on, yeah?
fuckin lowballer
This looks fine to me.

I'm gonna be completely honest here.
That range is GUT-WRENCHING to look at,
5.77 doesn't lend itself well to decimal conversions, I'm afraid. Technically it should be 3.36 keys or something along those lines. Sadly with the odd price for a key we must sacrifice aesthetics for accuracy.
I agree with you.
