1 of 1 hat, has sold a couple times so far.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12107784 - B/O 5.5 buds
Sold for O. Fire Executioner(~4.8 buds)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12396023 - B/O 5.5 buds
Sold for Burning Bonk(~4) + 4 keys = ~4.2 buds
Burning Bonk price is slightly outdated(3.8-4.3), but one has offers here of http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12041731
-4 buds
-Lantern Fed Fedora + 1 bud = ~4 buds
Wouldn't you need to include overpay?
I did include overpay.
? I don't see overpay from the executioner offer or the bonk helm. It would be 3.8-4.6 with overpay.
The executioner price range is 4.8-5.5 buds. 4.8 is the low end therefore that is the price to use to account for unusual overpay. The bonk price is 3.8-4.3 currently, but it is outdated, so I looked at other current offers on current trades and found that there are offers of 4 buds, which is higher than the outdated 3.8 price. Thus I use that number instead.
You used the number 4, yet your low-end is 4.2... And I would have taken the mid-price of the offers and multiplies by 0.9, as would most people attempting to account overpay.
The sale was the burning bonk and 4 keys, you must have missed the keys part. And it is actually more common to use the low end overpay method, as using the .9 x mid method can result often times in undervaluing hats. Regardless, I use low end in all my suggestions, because I believe it works better. There is nothing wrong with it, or this suggestion.
I've been upvoting this suggestion for quite a while now. ^^ Just thought it was a minor issue that may need to be addressed. If that's you method for calculating overpay, fair enough.
