Low end based off the "quicksale" of 2.5 by a guy who was failing to sell it for 2.7 for 1 week, high end based off the guy with a little more patience and a B/O of 4 who got 1 unusual offer getting close to 3 (not sure whether the blizz toque is still accurate though). I know there is gonna be people nitpicking like on every other suggestion, but please back up your comments with counterproof instead of saying something like "maybe 2.4-2.9 would be better" without even looking at the links.
Don't really think there are enough sincere offers to base a price here =S most offers are can I have free upgrade ploz, and one quickseller should not really count for the low range =S. That being said it isn't a popular hat like you said ;P, can you see if another one sold around your range?
well I tried to show that he wasn't actually a quickseller because he was failing to sell the unusual for 3.2 for 1 week and for 2.7 for 1 week..so 2 weeks of failing to sell it within my range (close to my range) and then successfully selling it for 2.5 to someone who was specifically looking for engie hats is valid proof to me..and in these cases it's usually better to have a slightly inaccurate price instead of keeping the current range which is extremely inaccurate..feel free to find offers above 3 Buds in the last month, I went through most closed trades and couldn't find one
I see were your coming from ^^ though I do think he was in a rush ;P. And he did wan't pure only which always takes longer ;P also one sold + a lvl 1 max for a cloud 9 barn stormer xD (with gent) which means nothing I know xD. I guess I'll stay undecided, don't really think a price should be based on a user in a rush to get pure ;P though what does it for me is that ki11 me is the highest offer on the open trade which means to me its worth more xD
I get your point, but like I said it's better to have a range which may or may not be slightly inaccurate instead of having a range which is definitely very inaccurate. It's always tough with new hats/effects, because they take a long time to settle. It was offered on my trade and I saw what its value on here was so my goal mainly is to keep new people who base all of their trades off bp.tf ranges from getting screwed over.
very true I guess you convinced me ^^ I'd hate to see a new user get stuck with a hard to sell hat because of bp.tf picelist ;P what and seeing a blue donater having 3 posts in a month is kinda sad though he did make his life harder by not putting any demo hats in his wishlist ;P
You can't really call it a quicksell when the guy failed to even sell it at 2.7 pure, he would have probably went down to 2.5 if that buyer hadn't have bought it already.
I'm sorry I really got the impression he was in a rush in all his trades he posted it was below bp's price range and he closed his trade after a week again to lower his price ;P, and judging from his wishlist I'd say he was only interested in pure making his job harder ;P, though I do see your point ^^
You have my upvote mate, nice proof. It's hard to get a lot of proof from these new unusuals. :)
