(price of 7.8 for this hat will be less then both energies, but higher then ghosts, seems ok for a very rare hearts ballcap)
Hi, you had my trade in there. It was a long time ago, and Hearts seems to be rising in demand quite quickly.
My hearts Ballcap ended up selling for close to 5.5 buds (5 in pure + white UC flops). I don't have screencaps of the trade, but I did some research. To prove my story.
If you look in his backpack at 1/18/2013, he has five buds pure ready to trade (based on our negotiations): http://backpack.tf/id/76561198018625187?time=1358496000.

I ended up paying 2 buds + $135 USD (~3.85 buds at the time). I payed close to 6 buds.
I agree that Hearts needs an increase, but this is too big of a jump. The reason I don't think it should be made based on Erika's trades is because Erika monopolizes many hearts hats and posts buyouts at absurd prices. I don't think it should go up to 7.8, rather somewhere around 5-6 would be fine.

I must thank you searching your sale, but I can't use this as proof. This happened around 5-6 months ago, and it's outdated when talking about unusuals.
In addition, I'm not basing the price on buyouts. As long as Erika successive to sell his hats for certain prices, it's fine. Even if he overprice his hats, It doesn't matter if people still willing to pay him 7.8 buds for this hearts ballcap. And prices aren't going by opinions, well yeah, 5-6 buds seems better then 7.8, but the only sale and valid proof, is that this hearts ballcap sold for 7.8. There isn't proof for 5-6 buds, therefore, it can't be part of the range.
The point I'm trying to make with Erika is that she unfairly controls the market surrounding Hearts, and in essence she can do whatever she wants to the prices. It doesn't necessarily reflect the current market interest in the hat, only a certain desperate person who is willing to pay her buyout.
It's not based only on desperation, it's also about about logic.
If I had vivid ballcap 1 of 1, and I would ask for 15 buds for it, no one would pay that much for it, even if I'm the only seller. The buyers can value the hat on their own, and think if that's a reasonable price or not.
