im just wondering, arent the only items you can get out of these weaponds? And if so, why are they worth 12 weap?

They work like a random drop, so you can potentially get hats and stuff, but its normal drop probabilities, so seems like a 1/50 or 1/100 chance of actually getting anything worthwhile.
