In the picture can you scroll over the Jefe and Fruit so we can see the effects?
Ofc. I will modify this post in second
Edit: As promised here the effects are: http://i.imgur.com/8LAxKFP.jpg for el jefe and here is for the fuit shoot: http://i.imgur.com/3k4GPM6.jpg
You bought it less than 2 months ago, I don't see why that shouldn't be included in the range?
What?
Sorry but why should that be included in the range?
I don't how you wouldn't be able to understand my comment. I guess I'll simplify it.
At least 2 sales have occurred over the the past 2 months, meaning that it has changed hands for 2 (Most likely) different prices. Since these two prices are the most recent and most likely the most accurate, they can be combined to make range which suggests what the price of the hat is. If there had only been one sale in many months then that been the most accurate price, but since there are two, a range is needed.
The range is not needed since the hat is 1 of 1. And the will stay as 1 of 1.
So if I had sold the had lets say next month for the same price you would say the range is not needed right?
Whether or not there should be a range is not determined by the quantity on the hats, but the quantity of the sales
And you base that opinion to what? Your personal opinions or some rules of bp.tf? Can't you realize that the hat is 1 of 1 and the price is going by what it gets sold for? And you didn't answer to the question I asked. (what if I had sold the hat for the same after 1 month later?)
What they mean is that even if the hat is 1 of 1, there has been more than 1 recent sale, so it should be included in the range.
2 months seems to be quite long tho, anyway I'll just be neutral on this.
The logic I have seen here in backpack.tf has been that the trades that are older than 1 month are invalid. So using that logic this suggestion is the correct one to price this.
No range is needed when the hat has been sold once even if loads exist. Doesn't matter is the hat is 1 of 1, if it's been sold more than once, and there's proof, a range is needed (if appropriate)
I can't follow you on this comment because everyone tells that the range is needed if the hat is not 1 of 1 in other suggestions without range. So where do you base the opinion that the range is needed for this hat?
The other sale
then again it's very ambiguous whether it can be considered as recent or not.
I'd call anything in the last 3 months recent, but possibly someone else doesn't.
Most say that over 1 month trades/offers are invalid since they are old.
It's not an opinion. It's a fact. On backpack.tf ranges are needed when the hats has been exchanged between users more than once. (if appropriate) Ranges are not needed when the hat has only been exchanged once.
Can you quote the fact from somewhere from the site since all the hats (or atleast most of them) have been traded between users many times and not all have a range?
Edit: Correcting a typo
Ill try to find one, I've just seem this many times from admins commenting on suggestions.
did you calculated the overpay ?
As you can read from the 1st post, yes I did :)
ahh sorry didn't see that
Can't blame you since I didn't bold or underline that.
Don't know why my 1st post got deleted by me but anyhow here it is:
1 of 1 for ever just got sold.
I am the previous owner and I sold it for eerie el jefe + secret fruit shoot with me adding minor sweets. Here is the proof: http://i.imgur.com/o8Choy6.jpg
So if we calculate the total with unusual mid X 0,9 we get 4,75 + 4,6 = 9,35 buds
Taking from that 9,35 the sweets I added (2 keys) we get 9,25 buds. Simple and easy :)
If you have any counter proof I will gladly hear it out. Thanks :)
As I got an request to show the effects of the jefe and fruit shoot here they are: For Jefe http://i.imgur.com/8LAxKFP.jpg and for Fruit: http://i.imgur.com/3k4GPM6.jpg
i think its better to use the low ends instead of mid x 0.9 when a hat is 1 of 1
sorry forgot to say that in my first comment xD
Well it is quite the same to use low end or mid X 0,9, since both have been accepted here :)
TBH I valued the jefe + fruit shoot at like 6 buds each (so i felt like i was paying ~12 buds) but nonetheless this is way better than 6.3-7 buds. that price was just ridiculous
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12220552 You sold for A Secret Fruit Shoot (~4.4)+Eerie Orbiting Fire El Jefe(~4.4)-sweets(~2-3 keys)~8.7 buds.
No at the market --> flat price ~8.7
Looks like I have calculated this incorrectly- Thanks
