Adding 6 ref to the range as it is clearly very possible to sell at. Also removing 5.66 from the range as 5.66 really is a quicksell these days and there are no sellers, just a few moderately successful buyers. I apologise for lack of sellers at 5.77 as there just aren't any but buyers at 5.77 seem sccessful so I have left in the range.

Also last change was only 3 days ago, this probably wont get passed anyways as you dont have nearly enough solds for 6 refs. This is a currency so you'll need alot more than that.

Key will go up eventually not exactly trying to stop it either, but when keys shoot up too fast it creates speculation and people start buying at ridiculous prices again because they think that after a few days it will be worth more.

Keys can't go over a certain amount. If they do, they will be more expensive than the keys on the TF2 store. (Unless, of course, price on the store or the refined price changes drastically)

It will get capped due to USD value but im talking in terms of metal here. Last year the reason it shot up so fast was because everyone thought it would go higher (legit went up 1 scrap per week) so people didnt care if they were paying 1-2 scrap more as it would be worth more later, making the value of keys higher (again in terms of ref ^-^).

I'm raising both ends, not just 1. I will search for more proof.

That's increasing the median by one scrap and since it's so close to the previous suggestion it isnt enough for it to be included.

The rule is one week cool down if only ONE end of it is being changed by a scrap. If both end are being moved up by .11, then the whole increase is one scrap, meaning it falls under the three day rule, not the week cool down.

Not saying I agree with this suggestion, I don't, but that is the rule.

You said it yourself, he is raising it 2 scraps, 1 scrap on the low end and 1 scrap on the high end. Or from 5.77 median to 5.88 median which is a 1 scrap median change.

I think you should give it some more time. The price was just updated 3 days ago and not a week ago.

I'm not so sure. But for key prices, they're quite hard to deal with. You'll probably need quite a lot more of 6 ref solds to convince everyone.

Why doesn't somebody with no keys at all ever do this. You have 26, no wonder you're doing this, 5.66 is still very possible, and 6 refs is like an endangered species, not a single trade up on Outpost looking to buy at 6 refs, nor does your proof show that they didn't change their prices to 6 refs and said sold: #. Downboat, sorry.

Because for the most part if you didn't have a key you probably wouldn't care about key prices that much, OR use this site anyways.

Also I don't think the number of keys owned makes much of a difference anymore, he could've just moved the keys to an alt before making the suggestion anyways.

Yeah, I kinda do have 29 keys, now I just look like a hypocrite.

Anyway, I don't trade my keys for metal either ( Unless I actually need it ) So I never do keep more than a key's worth of metal on me.

Though I do agree that it's still rather early for 6 ref, it'll be soon, just not now. And I'm sure if someone made a price suggestion to lower keys, it's mostly rejected not because they were apparently trying to get them for cheaper. It's because keys aren't actually going down very much, so it requires a lot of proof to bring it down, similarly to how it requires a lot of proof to bring it up, so usually there's not enough proof to lower the price to start with.

You have to actually prove that people are buying for 6 ref, and that 5.66 is no longer possible.

i bought 2 this morning for 5.33, therefore it must be in the range as it is "possible". he doesn't have to prove 5.66 is impossible, just rare and therefore only achievable by people who spend a lot of time looking. he's been honest and put those in his proof.

Last key suggestion got approved 3 days ago. Also, proof of sellers for 6ref is not enough in my opinion, also if someone claims to have sold a certain number of keys, doesn't mean he really did, it could be also fake. And apparently only a few people buy for 6ref, which is not enough for a price change in my opinion.

Also people who need 1 fast key will buy it for a higher price for not waste his time searching for a cheap key, downvoted.

Actually, by my calculations, keys have risen in value approximately 2 scrap per week over the last month, so we then can assume keys will hit 10.00 sometime during January.

However, I think that keys will wind up bottoming-out by the time they hit 6.22, because then you could just resell keys for metal, then the metal for USD, then purchase more keys with the money, and so on.

keys would never become 10 ref. that would basically mean they would sell for over $3 on the market, but the mann co store sells for cheaper. it will eventually be capped at 8ish ref.

As a currency item, it shouldn't have to take a day. Also, I bet you pounced as soon as you saw 5.66 thus making it a quicksell.

Just worth noting before people complain about the one week cool down- that is for when there is a half scrap change only, the cool down is three days if it is a scrap change.

Not saying I agree with this price, just wanted to let people know about the rule. Seems to be a pretty misconception that all suggestions must wait a week.

Some of your so-called 6 ref sellers are selling for a few weeks. They sell for a little bit higher than bp.tf price, so they didn't start selling at 6 ref, more like 5.77-5.88 ref.

This means they didn't sell 20+ keys at 6 ref. So get rid of those links, then you've got too few links to back up the suggested upper price.

I would like to say my trade i have on bazaar.tf in witch i'm selling keys for 6 ref http://bazaar.tf/trade/338249 I KNOW IT SAYS NO RESPONSES but about 15-20 people added me asking for keys (just my input i don't know if thats alot but its been 5 days.

It's a game. You may need to take a break if a game is causing you to pull your hair out due to an items imaginary value changing.

The fact that you're going against key pricing rules in enough for a downvote from me. Other than that, as others have said, this is a currency. More proof is needed.

Not enough proof for 6. All your sellers with a large number of sales are old trades with unverified sales.

Previous suggestion showed 5.66 was still doable.
