Ok thanks for adding the "proof" links but I'm afraid I have to destroy your minimal format again.
In most cases there is no actual proof that they traded 1:1 without sweets on any side since there is not comment on the trade itself (and even that would be still no 100% proof of a 1:1). If you are assuming that they traded 1:1 because there is no way to verify, please say that.

(Probably) Sold (1:1) for a Blizzard Human Cannonball - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11368401
~2.2 buds
Or
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11312709
(I am asuming it) Sold (1:1) for a Blizzard Human Cannonball - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11368401
~2.2 buds
Like that.
If you are 100% sure becacuse you checked their inventories and bp.tf histories please say that as well and if it's possible post links to the bp.tf inventories at a certain time.
This is nothing against you but think about it, you are a paragon for new suggestors with your blue belt and everything.
Also your system can be easily abused by not showing a bud that was added for example to "manipulate" prices.
Fuck this shit, well I guess I should do it like that then. Also an off-topic question, why the hell would I even manipulate prices? it's not like I'm ever going to own an unusual anyway. (nor I have any alt lel, I'm too poor for that)
And I actually learned first from people like Do0octor, Baloo and Weasley. I probably just should have seen better how they did theirs.
Here, redone proof.

Sold for a Burning Flames Industrial Festivizer - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11164203
~2.6 buds
http://backpack.tf/id/76561198060337972?time=1369465200 and http://backpack.tf/id/76561198060337972?time=1369551600
Only item that went to the original owner was the festivizer, as seen in the history. Due to the seller's bp history having a large hole between April and June it's impossible to see it form there.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11312709
Sold for a Blizzard Human Cannonball - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11368401
~2.2 buds
http://backpack.tf/id/76561198041707549?time=1369897200 and http://backpack.tf/id/76561198041707549?time=1369983600
2.3 buds increase in backpack from May 30th to May 31st, Cannonball is the only new item.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11334625
(possibly) Sold for an O. Fire Pyromancer's and a Stormy Dragonborn - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11337161
~3.9 buds - outlier
Both come from the same owner. But it seems there's something missing.
http://backpack.tf/id/76561198043491077?time=1369465200 and http://backpack.tf/id/76561198043491077?time=1369983600
There's a 5 day gap on the buyer, and the Geisha Boy is never seen in the seller's bp, meaning it sold in under a day.
http://backpack.tf/id/76561198079557342?time=1369897200 and http://backpack.tf/id/76561198079557342?time=1369983600
It's very likely no sweets were added (the buyer sold the geisha boy in those 5 days, there was a bud drop i his bp's value during that time.
Due to the fact that both are somewhat inactive on outpost it's hard to tell what they sold it for. If the specified trade actually happened it'd still be an outlier tho.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11618468
Sold for.Added 6 keys for a Flaming Lantern Whoopee Cap - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11693090~2 buds
There was a little mishap here, I didin't actually check bp history so I didn't notice the 6 added keys - http://backpack.tf/id/76561198041515215?time=1370934000 and http://backpack.tf/id/76561198041515215?time=1371020400
It's still pretty close to 2.1, would that be really bad?
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11760860
Sold for a G. Energy Mirror - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11874292
~2.1 buds
http://backpack.tf/id/76561198037172598?time=1371538800 and http://backpack.tf/id/76561198037172598?time=1371625200
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13369403
Sold for aAdded ~3 keys of items for a Steaming Bonk Boy - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13373894~2 buds
Is this enough to include 2 buds in the range? http://backpack.tf/id/76561198033948037?time=1375513200 and http://backpack.tf/id/76561198033948037?time=1375599600
I've also overlooked that.
"no offers" hasn't changed yet.
I never said you would manipulate prices but if outsiders see your suggestions they could think we are full of shit or fake proof that way.
Baloo is a lazy ass and the other two are not perfect either. :P
Well do you see it now? You missed two things and there could be easily more added. Now your proof is perfect, no one could complain about it in any way. Also no, you don't have to remake this suggestion.
Now keep the good work going. ;)
PS: I wrote a >650 words paragraph today about the flaws in unusual pricing we currently have, and I hope something is done soon because at the moment it is no fun doing unusual suggestions nor moderating them.
I will leave this up for another reply from you.
i'm not sure what I should reply to lol, there's no question there.
I believe we (blue/green/yellow belts), being an example to new suggestors, should put more effort into our suggestions and make it as clean and valid as possible, and not make it a bad suggestion supported with half-assed proof or such. And we should stop being lazy asses.
Some other problems with the current pricing system is that most of the new unusuals are priced on their very first few sales, which could be either just a very high outlier (that shouldn't be even considered on the hat) or a shark, which is very common now that new players usually open crates with keys, which are some of the items that most f2ps get as a first purchase, and a little fraction of them get unusuals. Due to their little knowledge about the market they may end up selling what can be considered a "god-tier hat" for a few buds of value or even keys. Suggestions that include proof like that get passed without any matter at all.
Another flaw is the fact that prices are stored in USD, and since keys, ref and buds fluctuate very frequently at erratic rates an unusual's value may plummet or increase at outrageous rates in just a little time. This can cause unusuals to change in a way it won't reflect the current market.
I'd like to see the post you made btw, it'd be interesting to read.
Yes bp.tf lives from new suggestors as well as old ones. I learned from someone too some months ago. :S
Well my post is currently only visible for admins, not sure if I should share it to the public yet. I mentioned all the things you said in there btw. :P
