This botkiller has not been updated for 5 months, and there is evidence that this price is inaccurate.

Interesting that there was an offer for 2.33 for this and the seller did not take it.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13458492
An offer of a Batter's Helmet painted Ye Olde Rustic Color (around 1.66)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13458492
Seller going by Steam Market Pricing has a person adding at a posted price of 1.33
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12406292
A person willing to pay 1 refined and an Unarmed Combat (0.55-0.66) for any of the stickies being sold. One person buying at the posted price of 1.66

An add at the posted price of 1.33
To the Steam Market!
http://backpack.tf/market
38 of these have been sold this week at an average of $0.52 USD, a median of $0.55 USD, and a converted metal value of 1.47 refined. Six have been sold in a 24 hour period, as of 9:33 PST on 08/10/2013
1 refined sales are still present, which is why I still have 1 ref at the low range. However, they tend to sell like hotcakes at that price. I disregarded all sales with strange parts and custom levels on them. Keep in mind that there are only 2 pages worth of this item on Outpost.
Seems more in range with the exception of 2 sellers at 1 but that's in range too, ill'l wait to see if more get sold at that range or they keep selling at 1 ref flat. ATM unsure what to vote.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11056449 Doesn't seem to be taking Bp prices for any of his stranges. He's been offered many prices in the range at the time which he declined.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13458492 Clearly states he's not taking anything under 2.66. He's a highballer when it comes to botkillers as you can see on his other trades.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13458492 This is a relist of the trade above and doesn't have any adds for 1.33 Ref.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12406292 "OR RIDICULOUSLY GOOD OFFERS". Seems like the typical highballer with botkillers. Also hasn't sold.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8494406 Appears the Sticky sold ALONG time ago according to the history.
The steam market does not reflect the price of botkillers, this is not proof of anything.
You have no proof of 1.33 at all. Just a bunch of highballers.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13546157 Selling for 1 ref.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13488530 Selling for 1 ref.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13538432 Selling for 1 ref.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13535686 Selling for 1 ref.
Instant downvote.
Wow... someone does not know how the site works, and in addition, was not paying attention.
Steam Market has more of a justified bearing to gauge a price. I just proved that 38 of these were sold in the past week, and you are like "oh, Steam Market does not count as proof, INSTANT DOWNVOTE." The Marketplace is NOT TF2Finance... It is what Steam itself is tracking the price of an item.
In addition, it is not considered highballing if they are - you know - WILLING TO SELL ABOVE THE PRICE THAT IT IS AT RIGHT NOW. You can hate on that all you want, but regardless if those traders follow the prices here or no, there is a sort of responsibility with keeping this community updated with the prices.
Selling =/= sold. If I put up a key and say I'm selling it for a bud, that doesn't mean that keys are now worth a bud.
You have 0 proof of 1.33, which is the range you're wishing to add. None of these trades you've provided have sold. People think that just because they spend 3/6 tickets for a botkiller, it should be sold for a higher price. This is only true for collector's levels and 100+. I have plenty of proof for high level botkillers I've sold to support this claim.
The marketplace is not usable proof as it works off of steam funds, not USD/Ref/keys/whathaveyou. If you want to use that as proof...Lets do some math shall we?
Persay the average of keys is at 2.10 on the marketplace. This would mean that a ref would be worth .36 cents if you sold the key at 5.88. Now this would mean 1.33 ref would be .12+.36=.48 cents. Clearly they're being sold for more then .48 cents on the marketplace. You show the average price is higher then that with your math, and that's basically destroying any potential proof you had as it doesn't support a range of 1-1.33.
The marketplace also doesn't work off Refined metal, like this site does for pricing. The only times the marketplace gets used is if there is a transaction involving an unusual, and there is no other proof.
We would also have to reprice countless other things according to the market everyday, as the price fluctuates.
Regardless, you show there are no trades selling for 1.33. Therefore you have no proof of your range. For having 43 suggestions passed, I would have expected a little more knowledge of what I'd said here.

So I am supposed to blatantly disregard this information, because you do not agree with it?
Even if I am to regard for the tax fee, it still does not explain away the fact that PEOPLE ARE WILLING TO BUY IT AT WHAT THE CONVERTED AVERAGE IS. As of 12:00 PM PST, that is the information that this item is tracking at. An average selling price of $0.53 USD. A median price of $0.55 USD. A converted money to refined ratio of 1.47 refined.
So I am supposed to ignore the fact that 38 of these have been sold, because you say so and because taxes must be put into account. That argument isn't valid if there are people willing to pay for the money the seller wishes to sell at, plus the taxes for the item, regardless of what the tax rate is.
If people are willing to buy an item like this at the price that is shown as the average, and the converted money to metal tally is above the price that it is currently listed at, it must be taken into account.
Any way you look at it, you have no proof of 1.33 sales. Neither in Refined or Marketplace sales.
And even then, the marketplace does not reflect our pricing since it's not in currency. We don't use USD to price keys or buds, so why would we use steam funds to price other items? The only thing that's based off of the USD is Refined metal. Otherwise we price things by Ref/Keys/Buds.
So even if there are offers for an item that exceed the current value of an item, they should be disregarded, right.
And thanks for the links, you have helped me prove my point of how fast they sell.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13488530
Four adds in two days at 1 refined.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13546157
Sold within half a day
Those two should tell you how quickly those things sell.
Oh, and by the way:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13458492
Deals in the low tier botkillers, so even if it looks like the one he has in the trade has not been sold, does not mean that he has not sold a different one at the same price.
Again, unless you can show proof that people are selling at 1.33, you don't have proof of your range. I showed that they sell easily at 1 ref, as they always have. I dealt in Rusts for a couple months with buying them at 1 ref and selling them on the marketplace. I got 3-4 a day back then. I'd show as proof, however it's 1+ month and has no bearing on the price.
I'll restate it again since it's not sinking in, show us sales at 1.33 ref.
@Jimmy: They do sell easily at 1 ref. Many almost instantly, in fact - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13571183 - there aren't many of these on the market and they do seem to sell for 1.33
http://tf2tp.com/trade.php?trade=9705200
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13573494
And this guy's trade shows that buyers are willing to pay 1.33 - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8494406
@Poncho: market sales aren't good for a number of reasons. let's say someone wants to buy the rust bk from market. why? because steam charges a few on both ends. say a seller is selling for 57 cents. after steam fees, it will be 40 cents. to convert to keys he has to buy at $2.15. 40/215 * 5.77 = ~1.1 ref. Please use only sales / offers from trading sites in the future.
it does not matter if people highball if they do get the offers, the offers are valid no matter what price the person lists it at.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8494406 this guy has multiple, so if the one in the trade shown was sold a long time ago, he couldve sold some recently.
This trade is 6 months old, and he doesn't have a single one of his botkillers from the trade in his possesion anymore. This is hardly proof as it's a trade that was never closed after he had sold them all months ago.
Also, he has offers of 1.66. Not 1.33. 1.66 still does not support his range of 1.33
All you are doing right now is digging a hole for yourself. You are extremely, absolutely foolish to think that I would put in offers more than a month old for an item, which apparently you have some wild theory that I am actually doing that.
And really? You are arguing that the Outpost link does not count because it was never sold and that all the stranges were sold months ago. If you are an active trader, you would know that Outpost links automatically close within one week if they are not bumped. They don't stay open forever unless they are bumped. Why else would that person keep the trade open, aside from the fact that he is still selling those items? You do not put pages up that long just to troll a community, and this person is making a profit off of selling low tier botkillers.
Also.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8494406
There was a person adding for the sticky at 1.33.
FOUR DAYS AGO.
A major difference than the several months that you are trying to claim.
I have wasted too much time talking to a brick wall, so I am not going to respond to anymore of your comments. This trade has been open for the past few days, and soon will see the judgement of one of the moderators. Whatever that person decides, yea or nay, I will respect their decision.
Next time, actually know exactly what the hell you are talking about.
Did you even read what I said? "This trade is 6 months old, and he doesn't have a single one of his botkillers from the trade in his possesion anymore."
If you check the history of each of his items in the trade, they show they've had numbers of other owners showing they sold a while ago. I've seen plenty of trades that end up forgotten about on outpost where the user doesn't trade anymore and just doesn't care to clean up.
Furthermore, every person on his trade in the last month who has added him or offered on the rust sticky has none in their BP. Hell I checked each person in the last month, and their BP shows no proof of this trader selling them any rusts which leads me to believe this trader no longer is trading his rusts.
For further proof this trader is not longer involved in trading, He has a trade up for buying keys at 3.33 ref, which was the going price at the time of posting his trade.
Instead of attacking me personally, maybe you should add him and ask since you're trying to proof he does still sell them?
Edit: Please PLEASE check your proof before shoving them down someone's throats. It makes you look like a real tool when you start insulting people like this when you're flaunting a trade that anyone can tell hasn't been active for months.
i think you are right about him no longer trading, but that the item he listed in his trade is sold, does not mean he can't have multiple of the same item.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,1474358736,886,11
http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,1385442591,886,11
he still has 3 different rust sticky bomb launchers.
also even though he did not sell them the stickys, he still has some interested buyers, which in my opinion still is proof (sales would be better, but it shows some people are/were willing to pay 1.33)
The moment you realize.... most of the comments made on this proof is from two people who evidently hate each other's points and like to point holes in them...
Anyways, I don't think a couple of links (4) counts for a market like this, as trade.tf shows 3 pages worth of offers (not going to link because I think people should be able to search stuff by themselves)
Edit: I see you have a few more proofs, but can you prove that most of the trades happening at 1 ref is quick sale?
Here's what trade.tf says about this argument http://www.trade.tf/price/886/11
I agree with the price, but do not agree with the proof. In fact, you got solds at:
2.33 declined
painted hat
1 ref+rare wep
1.33(finally sth with your price)Oh, i don't see accepted offer for sticky! Also, Steam market rarely got the same prices with outpost
BUT in counterproof i see that 1 ref sellers are selling it instantly (Exception for 1 2day unbumped trade)
I stay neutral for now. Your proof shows me that it's possible to sell this for 1.66-2.33, Jimmy Hunter's counterproof shows me that 1 ref became kind a quicksell.
I don't think that price is the correct one, I am selling one on outpost and I sold it for 1 ref, you are not able to sell it for 1.33 ref. You can sell it for 1.33 ref if you trade with a noob with metal or someone who is really interested on it, but I think the price must be 1 ref.
please don't give false information.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/user/76561198067561975,1
i looked at your trades till 2 weeks ago, and the only rust sticky you are selling is http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13558324 with 3 parts for 2 ref.
