please feel free to vote or comment!

Imma have to downvote, they seem to go nicely at 12 and other day i had an ofer about 13 for mine, sorry

Not to be rude but do you even own a Big Kill? Can't find any offer or a trade of the Big Kill, or even a Big Kill in your backpack that you might have posted. If I am wrong please point me in the right direction.

Yes i still have my big kill, and btw i not the pissed off owner if ur talking about me lol, im just saying i got an offer of 13 but 11-11.5 is decent but i still belive it should be at 11-12, also one of my freinds offerd it and i didnt take it because my freind was lending me the big kill intill he could pay me back for something but decided to just let me keep it :3 Otherwise it would be sold but right now im looking for offers on it

don't downvote. just look in the classifieds most are for 11 and even on for 10.75

We got a pissed off owner disliking all the support comments.

to me it makes absolutely no sense why ANYONE should downvote this considering there are as I type 5 big kills for sale at 11 keys (45 minutes old, 1 day old, 2 days old, 2 days old, 3 days old respectively)

this shows that it takes awhile to even sell at 11.

Not to mention there is another trade selling it for 10.75 keys that is one day old and the 3 day old seller is selling it for 10 keys + 4 ref. That's quite enough proof to me to show that it's not worth 12 anymore

I did not mean you to be that pissed off owner, lol, sry for the misunderstanding. I meant the one who disliked yours and my comment.

yea the problem though is that a majority of bp.tf just mindlessly clicks the check mark on anything

i can tell you that about 25% of the votes are from votes like these, as I've seen it to be about 20-25% on suggestions that have absolutely no proof sometimes.

          Bleh

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13552115 - Claims his is sold for 12 Keys

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12862600 - Turned down 13 Keys for his (2nd post from bottom)

    http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13257495 - Sold one for 12 Keys

However, I do see quite the lot of 11 key sellers as well...

    http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13574590 - 11 Keys, might be quicksell

    http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13597061 - 11 Keys 1 ref

    http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13603295

    http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13603864

I see more unsolds at 12 Than i see unsolds at 11, but i see a lot of quicksells at 11 keys as well, so I'm gonna stay neutral until i find more proof.

After looking through some more proof, 12 keys is most definitely possible. I'm sorry to say, but downvote.

      up vote :D

BTW. My proof (Zbrosielec) is now invalid. I sold my Big Kill for 12 pure.

The problem right now with almost every item is, everything goes down, only unusuals or good vintages go up, rarely any stranges' price goes up, because of all these 'evidence' that people have shown.

This is not how economy should work, people are always trying to buy lower, and by making the prices drop for the items, we are simply appealing to their requests.

Well it's not Bp.tf's job to maintain the economy, this site displays the current going rate for a particular item at a given time. It trys to keep the prices as updated as possible. The lower prices are a good thing for newbie traders as well. They can get better items cheaper. If you don't like your bp decreasing by 1 cent every couple price suggestions, then you can always cash out and watch the "collapse" from afar.

The problem is if people don't sell for backpack's listed price then they get "negative rep", whatever that means, so the only option is to sell for the listed price. If everybody sells for the listed price, however, that means one's listings will be buried. So, the natural option is to sell for below the listed price. Items that are not limited condition will only fall and fall until they are absolutely worthless, while limited edition items will slowly rise or stay the same. While backpack isn't intended to be the end-all-be-all, that's what it winds up being. Hopefully the Community Market goes full soon, then backpack won't be needed as there will be an always-current average price listing for items being sold.

Anyways, it seems people are still selling for 12 keys. Downvote for now.

The thing is that the only reason people are willing to sell for less is because they VALUE it less. If everyone valued it at 12 keys, then it would stay at 12 keys, but if people value it less than 12 keys, they will sell it for less.

So backpack.tf isn't to blame, it's the people who list it for sale for 11 keys to blame.

It's not really backpack's fault, it's an inadvertent side effect. People are afraid to value their items for anything more than what they're told their item is worth, because if they do they'll get flamed in their trade request.

It's not like backpack encourages users to do that. It just happens that way.

With reference to this price suggestion post for Big Kill, though it is a limited edition item, why isn't it going up? Lets contrast this to reality, a limited edition Phone is out, only 10 of it, they were sold out and can no longer be bought except from the owners, but the price increases, not decreases. Whereas in TF2, limited edition items seem to drop in prices, even though THEY ARE limited edition and cannot be obtained besides the use of trading. Though probably some retard might comment on this,'THIS IS TF2, GO AWAY', or something more vulgar but this is how economy should work. I won't say this is backpack.tf operators' fault, but I think it's the community's fault, everything drops, I hope I can see a proper economy system from TF2, the economy is what makes this game unique, but the only problem I feel is the fact that lots of items drop in value , even sometimes genuine items. Like the Genuine Three-Rune Blade In My Inventory, It Used To Be 5-6 Keys, Now 1.5-1.75 Keys Though IT IS ONLY AVAILABLE THROUGH PRE-ORDERING WITCHER 2, Which Costs $15+ If I'm Not Wrong.

Limited Edition items will drop when keys go up in value, which is really just refined falling in value since keys have a static price of 2.49. There are also programs that claim to be able to create items in a player's backpack (I don't know if they actually work or not). So it's possible that even limited edition items are still being produced, especially ones that aren't as desired such as Genuines and Vintages. As a trend, though, limited edition items will rise (Festive Buff Banner has gone up twice recently, I believe).

Don't think 12 should be removed from the range yet.

Why are most of the comments in red boxes?

Looks like 12 Keys is still possible to sell.

              Current range seems fine.

But, 11-12 keys looks good :c

Your only unsolds at 12 keys have a lot of interest and just seem to be afk. And almost all your other links have sold.

Comments show several successful sellers at 12. And with a total of only 5 pages on op, most of which are selling as sets or upgrades for unusuals, the sample size of successful 12 key sellers is high. I just don't think there are enough sellers under 11 to counter all those sales.
