A story of why Michal Puddington does not sell Painting Sets:

Puddington used to only have a 400000 dollar BP by selling bullets to Heavy for refined. The bp.tf price of this item was 3 ref then, and all the noobs were attempting to quickbuy for 2.66 ref. Michael, fully understanding how the tf2 economy worked, bought all the Painting sets at 3 ref, making a huge monopoly on his side.

The Steam summer sale came, and the paint prices crashed. But, shortly after that, the paints rebounded rather quickly back up to the original price. A rather large amount of new traders thought the item was rising in price, and bought Puddington's sets at 4 ref, then 3.66 to unbox paints. A suggestor named Wesley saw this happen, and promptly made a suggestion to raise the price. Michael saw the truth in this and accepted the suggestion. The 0.33 ref arbitrage was too small for Michael to use, and he already had 500000 dollars from selling all the paint sets. So now he doesn't sell them anymore.
