quickbuyers at 1 key:

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13594927
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11795777 key + rec
there is one in the classifieds for 1.1, but it is getting sold for key + ref, which is basicly 1.2
also i'd love to prove 1 key is a quicksell, expect that nobody made a trade selling for a key in the last 2 days...
Upboat from me.
None selling for 1 Key? Dang, you have my vote. Those must go by quick.
there has litterally not been a single trade for a key the last 2 days. (according to trade.tf)
Right , so i find concrete proof that this shouldn't be pushed through , it will be pointless right ?
Just because you have a shiny blue star.
This community has alot of flaws.
Anyway, upvote.
if you find proof that this price is wrong, and it is easily bought at 1 key, i will close this, so it won't be pointless.
and yes the star thingy is kinda useless for the votes.
Just like i did for the last one?
which?
White or black paint i believe
oh you were the one i had the conversation with on the white paint.
the problem with the proof you had, was that the buyers were able to sell for 2 keys.
that is the reason quickbuyers are not used as proof, because the are able to sell for more and they know it.
if you looked at the sellers, everything under 2 keys sold extremely fast and was occasionally resold at 2 keys, which is why it is a quicksell, and was not included in the range.
Definition of Quick buyers under Backpack.tf rules :
"Quickbuyer or quickseller trades (people who are buying or selling substantially below market price, either to make profit to get rid of an item)."
Friend they were buying in the price range and selling in the price range , stop lying to yourself by telling yourself that they were quickbuyers , the only reason that your previous suggestion passed is because you have a blue star and most of backpack.tf users are sheep. When you present proof for a price rise you have to prove that the previous price is NOT possible. From the proof that i got it was clear that they were not quickbuyers as they weren't buying the paint "SUBSTANTIALLY" under the price hence the proof was valid.
http://forums.backpack.tf/index.php?/topic/969-psa-how-to-help-identify-quicksell-buyer-trades/
and, yes some people only vote by blue star, but i made the same kind of suggestions when i was a orange star, and they got accepted as well with the same kind of proof.
1 key + 1 refined is within the current range...You need to prove they don't move at 1 key.
Your so-called 'quickbuyers' in the links you provide are offering a price within the current range, and buying successfully with no haggling. This is not what quickbuying looks like.
Within the past week:
First link: 1 bought. No offers asking for more ; a couple of adds that don't say why.
Second link: No relevant offers or adds. This isn't a terribly popular item, so that doesn't prove too much.
Third Link: 1 add; 1 non-specific add no offers asking for more.
Conclusion: You've pretty much just proven that sellers will willingly accept 1 key, while buyers will willingly pay 1.2 keys. Current range is correct; downvote.
(Edit) Also, this is not a very common item. With neither the buyers nor the sellers having a lot of competition, you see a bit of a range in the prices they are able to get.
the buyers know they can resell it at key + ref though.
next time i will just call them succesfull resellers.
resellers prices should not be in the range.
also, i have 2 sales at key + 2 ref, which would ultimately make the range 1-1.4, but seeing that the most traded price is 1.2, 1.2 flat would be the best price in my opinion
If you still have doubts, try sell one on outpost for 1 key and see how fast it gets snagged up and if it can be concluded as a quicksell or not, as i don't know how i could convince you.
When buyers offer a key, which is within the current range (and 85% of the maximum current range) and sellers take the offer and don't ask for more, I don't consider that quickbuying--that's just movement within the current range.
Also, if you want to claim they are re-selling, please show some proof of resells occurring. Otherwise they are just buyers.
mr. bucket: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12931558 (also in the key + 2 ref area)
plukos, sorry, my mistake, he is not a quickbuyer and he only needs one i believe (only needed one lime also) has none in his backpack and none BaF painted items http://www.tf2outpost.com/backpack/132826
tpoyah has no selling trade for them, but he is a rather large paint dealer http://www.tf2outpost.com/user/165975 as you can see here.
the reason why he has no selling trade open for BaF is probbably because he has none http://www.tf2outpost.com/backpack/76561198051280386
Hmm...interesting. Overall, I think you're probably right about the price; I'm just not sure if there are quite enough sales happening to justify a price change...with only a few sales happening, I'm just not sure there's enough information...so I'm feeling pretty neutral. I wouldn't disagree if this got accepted, though :3
Not a single seller for 1 key in the last 3 days according to trade.tf....
