Conclusion, 15 keys is possible but 14 keys is a bit more realistic and easy at this point.
If anyone wants to suggest a 14-15 range, feel free to use my proof!
Last suggestion was only 1 day ago give it a rest or it will have bp.tf leading the market rather than following it.
Atm people are only buying it for a high price because people think it is rising.
i mean he does have 6 in his bp >_>
Yup. Same thing with the s.reserve shooter it shot up in price and everyone jumped aboard thinking it would make profits then it dropped 2refs
B.M.O.C will drop on 26th December. Last time the descending cycle was something like this 1 bud - 22 keys - 20 keys - 16 keys - 14 keys - 10 keys and lower.
Except that's inaccurate because if you look at when prices peaked for the BMOC last year on the graph, then you'd see it was in early November when the downward spiral started. Mainly due to the amount of people that rushed the market trying to unload their BMOCs onto the market. With all the quicksell buyers then either dropping prices or getting filled up with BMOCs; the driving force of speculation ended as quicksell buyers lowered their resell prices to continue to attract buyers when there was no one left to buy overpriced BMOCs.
Apologies there. I started trading late August/ early September last year. But that is bad news or worst still for people buying them or willing to pay a bud ( see speculations in comments below). You took a month of happiness away from them :(
Whatever the reason they buy for, they're still paying more.
Mods can decide on how long to leave this suggestion up for..either way it proves no one sells for 13 keys.

Brad's response to cool downs.
Just because brad said it doesnt make it correct...
It's abit different when the demand for the item stems mainly from people thinking it is rising so they make a profit. Ie fools theory where people buy at a higherprice because they think they can sell it to a greater fool for a even higher price later. If suggetions were accepted so shortly after another it creates speculation [insert tldr argument] xD
Also " Too rapid of reprices can very well lead to bp.tf leading the market instead of following it...etc" -distinctively vincent. Part of the response to brads post
I'm not saying its correct, I'm saying its the person who created the site, and its his opinion on cool down times. I didn't say I wholeheartedly agreed with it, but I'm just being the messenger.
But you spreading his (out of context) response implies that you agree with it also misleading other suggesters that the creator of the website who barely looks at suggestions thinks this, so i should follow it.
If you're going to spreading things like this mind spreading the other mods and other people's responses to his post as well?
The only official cooldown on backpack.tf is for keys. KaushuMan asked if there was a need for cooldowns in another item and that's the response he got. As far as I'm concerned, that's the precedent unless the moderators would like to come up with something. Regardless, moderators still have their own ability to call a suggestion to soon to be made. That's why Brad hired them, to think, analyze, and assess on their own. If you have a problem with it, then you already know how to use the forums.
Only real issue i have here is you spreading a single (out of context) post and miss leading others in thinking it's correct. Though you dont say you agree/disagee by simply going "brad's response" you are implying it is correct and should be followed, directing others to his single post rather than to look at the whole discussion which was the point of the forum post.
He should have told / explained this better to his team of moderators. If what he says is what is to be believed then cool down on keys is bullshit. It's plain hypocrisy then. Like it or not, moderators then can be viably accused of manipulating the prices of items using this website.
Brad barely even looks at the suggestions on the site. I was just showing his opinion since he created the site. The cooldown on keys was a precedent put forth by Sir Jon and is followed by the moderating staff. To assume keys are the same as any other item in terms of pricing on backpack.tf would be blatantly wrong.
Mate If you read Brad's comment, he generalizes every thing. He is not specific about one item. His theory can be successfully applied to all items. Steam can apparently announce sale on any thing. Also if he barely looks at the suggestions on this site then he should not go commenting on things which could be spread by Baloo and is in direct contradiction to his recruits ( moderators).
Its not like you should expect the guy to go through a detailed list of what items deserve and don't deserve a cooldown time on a thread addressing Bill's Hats. He wrote a quick worded response and I am simply stating it here. To expect an essay with explicit details on how moderators should deal with each and every single suggestion is idiotic. He recruited these moderators because they could think for themselves. He's just saying that cooldown times, in general, impede accurate pricing and making sure traders know the value of their items in a timely manner. I'm sorry he didn't write an end-all statement right there to your hearts desire.
So you are saying that that's just his thoughts and they does not matter. Then there was no reason for you to be the messenger and post it here.
If they matters then his quick word, unless otherwise specified, can be applicable to every item on backpack.tf. It is a responsibility of an admin/moderator to clearly specify what their comment is directed upon such that it cannot be used at a wrong place.
It's gonna keep on rising mate. I do not know if you noticed this or not but "most" of the B.M.O.C used as proofs have gone through same bunch of sellers/buyer often. Most of them just go round and round :)
That i will agree on but it's going up because people think it's going up. A week ago it was a hardish sale at 13 keys. Then a suggestion rising it was accepted and everyone jumps into the idea that christmas is comming gonna rise to a bud and everyone jumped aboard :L
Yup, and after that most of the people who were tricked to buy a B.M.O.C for a bud or so were left petrified while trying to account their losses.
Mother of GOD... 23 keys for a B.M.O.C? Really? xD
He was going to buy from me for a bud at the least, but I was sleeping :(
Oh, too bad :c Well, I see some good proof out there... Even though the last suggestion was some days ago, your proofs fine so... upvoting!
Great proof, great price. Easy up vote
Btw, nice vids :)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13711879 < I did manage to sell for 14 keys, 3 days ago..forgot I sold this
DAMNIT just as i got 13 keys >:I
bought mine for 14 keys 3 ref, 14 for bmoc, 3 ref for lime paint! couldnt find anyone lower XD upvote!
it will rise at 20 keys at this pace, like its not even September and its already 14 keys xP
This market makes me crazy. I got one, and i think it's the best hat ever. However you got 6 of this... But your proof looks valid. Upvote, i think.
How can you call that QUICKBUYING when it's in the current range.
Other than that, it's obvious that this deserves to raise in price.
I just sold 3 of these for 2buds + 4 keys so you might be able to make a point for even higher already.
I wonder how long the hype will last this year.
taking it 1 key at a time..but anyone is free to counter my suggestion with a higher one ;)
