    inb4 WAT IS DEES HOW U GET?!!!?11!!!?1!!

HORY SHIT WHITE ITEM MUST GIT IT ITS SO AWSUM IT DUS NUTHING

      VALV OP GIMME Pl0Z

A person had a uncraftable masters yellow belt, who deleted it and reported the instances to Steam Support. Undoubtedly, instead of giving him back a craftable masters yellow belt, they gave him a STOCK coloured masters yellow belt. There are no physical alterations or characteristics of the hat WITHIN the game, but WITHIN your backpack, trading, and for instances here, it will show up as GREY. the name will be GREY. when you trade it, the background will be INVISIBLE because it blends in with the schema of the grey trade boxes.

valve logic: i "accidentally" delete an item worth 2 rec. because of that i get an item from steam support worth 12 buds.

Not valve logic but community stupidity.

liek dis if u cri evertim (in response to the pic)

          no hobbys? :D

            backpack.tf is my hobby

and has been since june (or july?)

You love the long-ass proof right?

where do u ever find the time to do this kind of stuff?

"I hope the 3-day-long(218) proof search was worth it"

Sales are >1 year old. It should be left unpriced.

              ^you heard this guy

sales on the purity fist were also old as hell

                j-jon accepted it.

forget that i read it as /12 not /13

bu-but the suggestion for the normal bat also used the older sales (>year) to update the range.

                  http://backpack.tf/vote/id/520eb285ba2536765b000001

most (if not all) of the proof is older than a year

I didn't look at the normal bat suggestion. But the purity fist one had a recent sale, so I didn't say anything. If it were up to me all suggestions on anything >3 months old just wouldn't be used since any currency / item used then would not have the same value today. And something 1 year old is VERY different from its value today. But I'll leave this up for another mod to look at.

Thats true. All the offers could have added up to alot more today

if there haven't been sales in the past year, why shouldn't the price still be based on the most recent sales? how is leaving it unpriced an improvement?

Who knows what it will get this year if it goes for sale. And im sure the owner doesnt want a price on it. And its old and rare so its not like it needs a price

current owner is marked and apparently does not trade anymore

He is basing his price on stranges and unusuals that were worth way differently 1 year ago. 6x s machina? all those stranges have VERY different values now than they used to. So what that trade was valued then isn't even close to what he is valuing it at now.

fair enough. I just disagreed with cleverpun's stance that these items shouldn't be priced at all, so I was wondering your view.

You going to do the Normal Soldier's Stash next?

I was going to do the bud, stash and modest

                          sad day, they're all reverted

BUT there's still the ellis cap, and it's still on the market

fun fact, it was previously owned by Brad Pitt a year ago

I wanted to ask him but I'm just too shy

Proof is old, prices get updated, value in offers increases over time. Too old of a suggestion here

"value in offers increases over time"

Most of the offers were second generation effects which were somewhat new at the time, and thus more valuable. For the record, the o. fire pusher was valued at like 2 buds back then.

My excuse for doing a suggestion with such old proof is the same as ivor's on his bat suggestion.

                          http://backpack.tf/vote/id/520eb285ba2536765b000001

Most of his offers are pure only. Yours are mainly unusuals/items, neutral

Proof is way too old. To get an accurate and inflation modified price would require a lot of guess work and is really unnecessary since this item is at this moment not for sale and probably never will be.

I cannot speak for mr. bucket and why he accepted the normal bat suggestion. But he has the excuse that the previous price was proofless and the OP did some inflation correction.
