except for the fact that was never accepted and was made by a guy who owns 2 untradable rec in his BP?

he is not offering metal though, he is offering a genuine pilotka (which the owner no longer has) or a genuine foppish (which he still has).

an offer does not need to be accepted, some unusuals are priced with offers as the high end without them being accepted.

people who trade unusuals don't smelt untradable weapons. my point is that the person who made the offer had (most likely) no idea of the value of the hat

i traded unusuals for a while, and i also smelted my untradable weapons, i don't see the point you are trying to make with that comment.
