At first glance, this seems like price manipulation to me, as there isn't a lot of proof, and you own three (unless you're trying to be like Offline), but looking at Outpost results, there are only two pages, and both of them contain a lot of painted ones.
Honestly, I'm on the fence here. I'm going to stay neutral for now, but it's not going to take much for me to change that to an upvote.

The fact that he owns multiples of this item does not invalidate the incontrovertible proof provided. As a matter of fact, a trader that often deals with a suggested item is usually a more reliable source for a given item as he will be more adept at noticing market trends.

I don't think it is - a buyer is rare for 3 keys is rare. Even so if it is , its an outlier and it does not apply for the suggested price.

This is terribly dumb. I think EAs are ugly and I would never buy them, does that make them worth less? Of course not, since there is a market that pays for them.
You may not be willing to buy for the suggested price, but the proof shows that many other people are. Keep your self-centred opinions to yourself.
I think we should hold off on this suggestion as it just became craftable. If they are still in high demand, then this would make sense.

They don't call it price manipulation if you have enough links, like maybe 25 or more, but look at offline. He owns multiple of items he suggest the price on, but he has enough links.

It was up for less than 24 hours, the potencial higher mid-price, sold here. Got 3 item offers too (two worth 2.5k, but didn't want to overpay), plus one other potencial buyer that retracted right before accepting the trade. (he said it was for someone else, and the guy changed his mind)
I'll counter your anecdote sir with my own anecdote. Friend of mine has had his up on the market for 2 keys pure for a while now, and has yet to sell them.
The "anecdote" obviously isn't the reason why I posted it. Or are you saying I'm lying?
I'm saying one anecdote for either side doesn't matter. You need lots of proof to show what is representative of the market.
Of course you do, I'm not saying this is reflecting the whole market. I'm just sharing my experience with others. I was that silly thinking that community will appreciate this.

there's no counterproof anywhere, the bunch of links posted above are just links that instasold, and it only proves that 2 keys and anything below sells fast
ah yes, they sell quickly indeed @2keys or below. The proof of >2keys is actually not that good. One sold for 2keys + craft hat & 1 for 2 keys + 2 ref (the highest) , Also sellers of 2 keys + 1 or 2 ref unsold for days. Not really proof for the upper range (2.5 keys).
the graybanns can buy in shop and the price is lower than the Macho Mann so it should lower than 2 keys ( Macho Mann is 2 keys)
