Let's look at what the previous one's sold for.

-The previous owner sold his for 4 buds pure - a bills hat (3.66)

-He sold it for a Spectral Spectrum max head + one bud +dirty summer hat to this guy. The spell is 15 keys alone, so it halves its price when equipped to the Max Head, taking the Max from 2.2 Buds to ~2.5. Dirty Summer Hat is 14 Keys + 1 Bud = Around 4.2-4.4 buds. (Sorry for bad math if any mistakes)

So what did you pay? And there are tonnes of other sales to base this price off of 2 sales doesn't account for all of the others

It looks like you paid a Ghosts Geisha + Smoking Western Wear which comes to 2.2 buds including unusual overpay

But as that could be an outlying trade, please provide proof of the other sales

I valued Geisha at 2 buds, and Western Wear is 1 bud. That's three. I bought it cheaper since guy just wanted to get rid of it, it was an outlying trade. It's 1 of 2 on Outpost, and there are no other sales.

You do realize how many owners of both hats on outpost have don't you?

The level 69 one has had 8 owners, and yours has 4 owners, showing us 2 trades does not prove much for the total of 10 sales.

Also what you value unusuals at does not mean that is what they are worth, you said "2 Buds B/O" and "1 bud B/O" buyouts are different from a hat's actual worth, and there is such a thing called unusual overpay when making suggestions.

Please track down at least most of those sales and maybe re-suggest if the pricing is out

Most of the sales on this hat are rather recent. Within a few weeks on both of them. You call those old, yet still include a sale of 4 that the guy said happened over a month ago?

You have to use backpack.tf's prices for unusuals, not what "you value them at".

I value my special scrap at a buds, and I sold it for a s. backscratcher. Does that make s. backscratcher a buds? No, case in point.

Also, you didn't provide proof of sales, and you need more sales in general to verify these are not outliers.

That B/O on outpost of 4 is your own buyout. Selling =/= sold in this case.

Never said selling = sold, I said the only two have a B/O of 4, yet the previous ones sold for 3.6-4.

In the original notes I explain the two most recent sales. Which was for 3.66 and 3.98, which is why I made the price suggestion 3.6-4.
