Suggestion: Salvaged Mann Co. Supply Crate #50 at 3.5–4.5 keys

Demand has gone up, and most, if not all of these trades has took place during the past day so I don't have as much proof as the down voters do. If you could, please add more proof. Thanks :D

4.5 keys is not enough

steammarket price for:1 key is ~1.52€ and crate #50 ~7.80€

7.80/1.52=5.13keys

I have made the same mistake as you. Community market is not credible information as to the crates actual price, according to the rules. :)

Did you take off the tax valve charges? If you haven't, the amount that the seller receives is 6.78 Euros and by dividing that by 1.52 gives the seller 4.46 keys (pretty much 4.5 keys).

I don't see any proof of 4.5 keys, the highest I see is 4 keys + 1 ref which comes to about 4.2 keys.

So far there are a few. One for 5 keys up there, another for a 1:1 with a series 40(can be counted as 4.5) and finally a man down below sold four for 5 keys or more each.

Yes there is one for 5 keys and the 1:1 for the series #40 can be counted as it is valued 4-5 keys as of the moment, but since 5 keys for a high end price seemed a little high, I put it down to 4.5 keys. Either way the price of this crate should only rise seeing as this crate is more rare than Crate 40 but less expensive.

1 offer of 5 keys won't be enough to convince me and if we do take the Crate #40 as 4.5 keys then that's still only 1 proof of your high end. Personally the proof of 3.5-4 keys seems much stronger.

Sure that's no problem. Like I said, it has only been activity for the past day I have put up since this crate was only retired yesterday, I believe I will be seeing more desperate buyers for the next few days. I am sorry for that. But as long as I see people doing it, I think that many will be able to agree with this price. But thank you for your opinion :)

Okay that's fine. Well perhaps if this suggestion doesn't pass you could always re-suggest in a few more days (when it's not been dropping for longer) I foresee more successful sellers and buyer at the high-end by then because people'll think the price is going to keep rising, much like with the B.M.O.C. ^_^

3-4 keys may have been a much better range, because there is no proof for the high end

So for there are 3 pieces of proof for 4.5 keys+, but I think that rather than voting it little by little, I think that putting it up a little is necessary as these things are more rare than the series 40 and yet less expensive. I can see these crates going for at least 10 keys by the next 12 months due to people wanting the items in it. And basing things on rarity, there are around twice as much of these as the series 30 which as of the moment costs a minimum of 22 keys, therefore these should really be able to go for 11 keys each. But thank you for your opinion :)
