He ended up selling the jefe for a scorching slug (8-8.9=8.5x.9=7.7) + hearts grimm (3.9-5=4.4x.9=4) + bubbling bicorne (1.3-1.5=1.4x.9=1.3) + stormy ushanka (1.3-1.5=1.3) = 7.7 + 4 + 1.3 + 1.3 + 8 keys of sweets = ~14.7

Offer of Cloudy Moon Jefe (~23 x .9) = 20.7 for the Buccaneer + 6, 20-6 = 14 + .7 = 14.7 (this bicorne is duped however it counts as support for the high value, the moon jefe's history looks duped and full of scammers which is probably why the trade owner didn't take the offer, not to mention there is a lot of duped cloudy moon jefe's on the market).
