Needs a bump. It was recently sold for an Eerie Orbiting Fire Team Captain.

I'm a bit confuzzled, why the range?

Since I'm basing my proof off of a sale for an unusual, i'm reluctant to set a more solid price. It's simply a bump up, but also with the potential for even higher.

Downvote, you need to have at LEAST 2 sales.

Eventhough if its a rare hat.

That's only new hats and new effects.

That rule is for new hats/effects. This one has been out for a decent amount of time, seen several owners, and has already been priced before.

That only applies to 2013 effects, lrn2read.

Sorry for the confusion. The rule was indeed meant primarily for new effects with the idea that we didn't want to base prices on a single price for a hat new to the market because a single sale could be a shark (undervalue) or hype (overvalue). We wanted the price on these to settle and to have several sales to confirm.

On hats that have been around for a year, the price is presumably stable.

So lets say, a hat with an old effect like burning or something.

                1 Sale works?

If it's very rare and it's the only sale in 3 months, then that's fair. If a hat has been traded even twice in a three month span, it will most likely need a range.

What a day to remember said. I already read the rules for suggesting a price for an unusual.
