No suggestion ever passed. 1 of 1 on the market for a long, long time - put mine up for 2 buds, and it was sold within 2 hours. gg.

Threw in some miscs, too, because I'm such a nice guy.
I don't know, unusuals should have always a range, a single trade can't fix all trades to that price.
Exceptions are rare hats that haven't been on the market for a long time.
For example: http://backpack.tf/vote/id/51b055e4ba2536fb54000024
You need atleast 2 sales.
That only applies with new effects and new hats, not old hats with old effects.
Only applies to new hats and new effects i.e. the robo and summer effects.
Sorry for my ignorance, but how does this hat have a current price when no suggestions were ever passed?
Random prices.
So we either leave it as an inaccurate price that was set a long time ago buy some random guy or we raise the price based on the only trade made in 6 months?
Yeah, pretty much. But if you check the comments I made down below, there's a little more to it than that.
Personally i would like to see it sold again to bump the price of it up that much so downvoted
Looks like the guy isn't planning on reselling it. seperately at least - http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14128952
Regardless a single sale isn't enough proof in my mind to to up the price that much, its like if i where to Sell any random misc/hat for twice is value just because the other trader wanted it that badly
Well it hasn't been up for sale in a long time, and this price is way more accurate than the random one the site gave it.
Accurate in what way? a single sale?
It's the only known recent sale...
Regardless if its the only known recent sale it would need another sale in my opinion to double its worth, you cant really base the price of something just because one guy wanted it and payed that amount
Well yeah it could get more, it sold in less than 2 hours. But the current owner wants to sell it in a set and will be quite awhile till it's sold.
Well, if you read the trade, you can use a bit of common sense too. bp.tf price for a P. Fetti Swagman's is 2-2.2 buds, this is higher tier, rarer and there are less on the market. I reckon it could get above 2, but I was trying to be fair, as I realise it's a very nice hat. I also had another collecting offer of 2 buds from someone else, if that means anything.
Accurate in a way where the price is somewhat accurate in comparison to other top-tier Purple Fetti Sniper hats (Swagman's is 2-2.2, etc...) and it's been sold for that in less than 2 hours, and had another person trying to collect the buds for it. If you merely use your common sense, you'll see it's impossible to get a hat such as this for 20 keys.
Sold in 2 hours for double the price, and the guy you sold to is still on your friends list. Seems a bit off to me for something like this.
I agree but if u check his (I mean the guy who bought the hat ) really likes fetti, I upvoted
I mean his trades in tf2op
Double the price of what? A random, inaccurate price set over a year ago that wasn't accurate in the first place? And why should I be automatically expected to delete everyone I trade with? If you haven't noticed, which I'm sure you have as you checked it, I have over 250 people on my friends list. Please think before you post stupid comments like that.
Whats wrong with leaving people you meet trading on your friends list?
