Conclusion

Two sales, simplez.

Help / Constructive Criticism / Additional Proof / Counter-Proof is ALWAYS welcome! >;3

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13297571 traded for a ~smoking milkman, then http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13568557 "quicksold" for 2 buds but then http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13701475 buyout of 2 buds again, I remember even seeing these being sold more times with buyouts of ~2-2.5 buds mate just off the top of my head, without doing any more digging. Also, sold way too many times to only have 2 instances of proof. Downvote from me.

      1. First owner obviously didn't know the price, highly common in unusuals. Another quicksell imo

      2. Quicksells dont count

      3. Sold for a Steaming Hat of Cards, which is unpriced

      Just saying.

"two sales, simplez." Oh wait, there have been at least 5 more sales. Those are irrelevant, the ones I've listed are relevant because: . Nope wont list them in my proof, because more simplez this way. Counter-proof always welcome, dislike counter-proof. 3legit5me.

          1. Not always possible to track every sale.

          2. 2 sales is the minimum requirement to set a price, but I always try to look for more

          3. I'm not rejecting or hating on counter-proof, Im just opposing it and speaking my opinion

          4. I never try to skip proof, but sometimes I do forget to include specific aspects of a suggestion, not because Im lazy or whatnot but because I am still not used to it (not sure why, but they aren't for the wrong reason)

          5. I usually leave out unnecessary proof out of my suggestion. In this case. The other sales were: 2 bud quicksell (quicksells are invalid proof), the first inboxer selling it for a Smoking Milkman (if 2 buds was a quicksell, well 1.4 buds is definately a low sale). The other sale was for a Steaming Hat of Cards, even though it had a B/O of 2, the Hat of Cards is unpriced, and can't really be used as proof.

          6. I apologise for any misunderstandings, but I was in no way trying to appear rude or aggressive towards you. I was simply speaking my opinion out.

No need to apologize, being rude or aggressive isn't prevalent to the suggestion. Bottom line, this is some bush league work from someone with 150+ accepted suggestions. 1 of 6 and you only have 2 sales. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13253455 here it also 2:1ed with an electro beak for a roboactive tyro, appears it was offered on the tyro, so reverse overpay, 8 + x = 13.5, x = 5.5 (would be the low end, tyro price is inflated and beak is undervalued but just going by pricing on this site). Previously purchased for http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13151536 phosph robo glove + orb fire brainiac + ~15 in sweets. Outliers? Perhaps. Not listed in proof? Yes. Easy to find? Extremely. Also, the 2 and 2.5 bud buyouts are very prevalent, since they were a lot more recent and both listed at the same time. Writing them off without any explanation is extremely lazy. You can do better than this. "still not used to it" but you have 150 accepted suggestions? Almost afraid to look at your previous work if you stand behind this.

You make a point, and I apologise for my mistakes. Well, now they are available as proof (although credit to you), and I guess we should leave this for a mod to decide. I appreciate your feedback, and it would probably help me grow :3 <3

The suggestion now does have all proof listed, although I don't know how it would have affected the range. I was thinking 2.5-3.9? It can clearly reach that high end, but has sold for much less very recently. No idea. Leaving it up to a mod isn't really the best tactic, since like everyone else, they aren't perfect and they formulate opinions that aren't necessarily justifiable. With this proof do you think this range should be accepted? Raised or lowered, expanded? And if you think the current range is acceptable, since you've decided to leave it up, do you think the other sales cancel each other out?

I think the range is alright, but Im guessing quicksells dont really count. Mods aren't perfect, but they usually know what they're doing :3

This suggestion reminds me of this one: http://backpack.tf/vote/id/522b56abba2536b06c8b456e

A lot of times what happens is that the first guy sells it cheap. Second guy is just happy to make profit it on it, so he will sell it for more but still at less than full value. And so on.... And 3-4 sellers down the line, after the profit has been divided, the hat finally reaches its max value and it starts taking 1-2-3-4 weeks to sell. I don't think any one of those 3 sales got full value out of their hat. They sold it off quickly, and it normally takes a while to sell new effects. At the same time, the aces high noir sale - "ill offer you my terror watt medics mountain cap (its worth around 5 buds)" - was made to a trader that doesn't have a lot of experience. And then the knifestorm hound dog price is 5 months old. I made the last suggestion for it to be 3.9-5.3, so that sale could very well be closer to 3.9.

All in all, I would lean towards accepting this for the reasons I outlined above. Two sales 3.5-4. Other sellers didn't wait long enough to get full value. But on tricky suggestions, I usually have another mod take a look as well.

Either way, your first two sales are wrong.

Sale 1: cap was offered on noir so no overpay should be applied on noir (4.3)

        Sale 2: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13402030

cap was also offered on hound dog AND unknown sweets were added.
