Changing the price of this hat again. More information below.

I was the previous owner of this hat, cleanest on the market with 5 people in its history.

The previous person dropped the price by nearly 25 buds. He cited a lack of proof on my end regarding the offers I was receiving.

Some of these prices are calculated wrongly.

He also applied his own biasness against halloween effects.

"Well, I hate when people buy things for moon/secret/halloween in general hats, so as punishment each one gets its own subsection explaining what its value is."

Now I'm fairly sure that the role of backpack.tf is to ensure there are accurate prices to match the market, not to impose your own estimated prices on them.

You can't price hats of this calibre without actually being in the market for them. Now that I no longer have it, I'm going to prove him wrong.

My offers:

"-Roboactive Executioner(~30) + Miami Executioner(~17.8) + N&B Barnstormer(~2.1) + 18 keys = ~50.8 buds"

Won't argue with that, it was a pretty low offer.

"-Disco brotherhood + antifreeze brigade + sulph berliners + $100 + 16 keys + sweets(probably around ~50 or a bit above)"

This is where I differ. Beams Brotherhood is priced at 53, and Disco>Beams in many hats. We'll compromise and say that it's 53.

The Brigade itself is 10.2 buds. (9-11.4)

The Berliners is probably 4.5 - 5. (Phosph is 4, generally Sulph hats are priced higher.)

Taking current value of buds at 39 USD and at ~20.9 keys, that's 100/39 + 16/20.9 = ~3.33 buds.

Taking lower end prices:

53 + 9 + 4 + 3.33 = 59.33

Taking average prices:

53 + 10.2 + 4.8 + 3.33 = 61.33

The previous person probably priced the Brotherhood at ~50 - 10.2 - 4 - 3.33 = ~32.5

I really don't see how he saw the price as that, considering Miami is priced at 36.2, and Disco far outweighs Miami.

This is not including the projected price of the Brotherhood, which I believe is much higher.

Far cry from "~50 or a bit above".

He had the buds in his (private) backpack, but he had a pretty serious real life issue and could only pay in 1 month.

He's also pretty sensitive about it, so don't go harrass him.

As for what I sold the Secret Crone's for:

I sold the Terror-watt TC + 1 bud for a Lantern Crone's.

I sold that Lantern Crone's for a Time Warp Gibus + Lantern Handle.

The P.E. TC is ~32.4 buds. (31.3-33.5)

Taking the Terror-watt TC at the average price of the Lantern Crone's, (26-30) - 1 = (25-29) The next sale proves that the price of the Crone's is at ~27.5. (TW Gibus is at 25.4, Lantern Handle is ~2)

Scorching Hermes is ~6.1 buds. (5.3-6.8)

Presidents YWN is ~5.6 buds. (5.3-5.8)

Searing Hoodie is ~2 buds. (1.9-2.2, 8 month old price, sellers aren't going lower than that.)

Orb. Fire Attendant is ~2 buds. (1.9-2.1, 5 month old price, seller got offered 2 pure last week and he instantly accepted.)

Taking lower end prices:

31.3 + 25 + 5.3 + 5.3 + 1.9 + 1.9 = 70.7

Taking average prices:

32.4 + 26.5 + 6.8 + 6.8 + 2 + 2 = 76.5

This is very comfortably in the average range of 67.7-84.7 buds, which is 76.2.

Note: I had to focus on selling it fast before people try to abuse backpack.tf's price and bring down the hat.
