Suggestion: Earbuds at 21 keys

Conclusion: LOTS of Sellers at less than 21+ Keys. Not many sellers at 21+ Keys because of the long wait to sell at that high price. Many traders switched from 21+ Keys to 21 keys or less to sell their buds faster. This price is much better, the price we have now is already outdated. Why buy a bud for 21+ keys when you can buy it for 21 keys or less?

22 isnt even in the old range, so that post only proves that

1. you're a lucky bastard

2. you were either in a trade server or

3. they were too lazy/desperate to do any research

however, proof is proof, but I dont think that 3 sales that arent even part of the range invalidates the 100+ sellers at 21

But the point is that upper end isnt out of reach. And thats all this suggestion is tryin to remove

I saw that after seeing your post under mine, but I honestly think that if you have 100+ options to buy at the low end of the price listed and saved on a site, there's no reason to pay the high end. That being said, people still buy them that high, but unless someone can come up with loads of sales at 21.5 or 22, I still believe this suggestion will and should be accepted

Every item always has a ton at the low end and a good amount at the high end. And the high end still find sales, your average traders dont look for good deals they buy from the first of the ton of guys they added and they will be okay with paying more just for the quickness. Lots of traders who sell at the low end accept adds very slowly.

actually, most traders do search for a cheaper item, especially for more expensive items and when the seller is at the high end of the listed price, with a little research they would find one cheaper within the first few search links on outpost

I sell unusuals for more then what others are selling and for pure.

Most traders trust me dont look for cheaper ones, they really dont.

They buy from the first trader that adds them.

Sold 3 buds at 22 keys very easily with a young trade. Doubt 21.5 is out of the picture

Well, I looked at your trade and I saw that your trade gets bumped every 2 hours or less. I think a trade that was bumped like 3 mins ago would have more luck of getting sold than a trade that was bumped an hour ago. So, I think you got pretty lucky. Some people are lazy, and they don't want to search for cheaper buds, so they pay more for their item.

By the way, your second link was 2 days old and the your current trade opened was only opened for a day.

Second puush is actually after an hr of posting the trade. It hasnt been full 2 days so it only says 1 day , doesnt ever say 1.3 days, 1.5 days.

And yesterday i didnt do much trading or i think i would have sold more.

Some people are lazy and just buy from the guy who accepts adds for a .5 key difference.

And the point is upper end i doubt is gone since it will most likely still get more then 21 keys after this passes. But its better to follow bud prices then to try to lead them.

20 Keys is a great price, there needs to be a change in the price.

Although I support this decision, I'm afraid what will happen to key prices and such when another price for buds is lowered. Anyone else?

Its simple what happen : Keys will rise in $ to about 1,90$ per key and key will rise in refs more like ~ 10 ref for 1 key

You should've made the range 20-21, as if for now there's a bot selling a few buds on the classifieds for 20 keys and 4 refined each.

bud price decreases on bp.tf -> sellers start selling under bp.tf price -> bud price decreases on bp.tf -> sellers start selling under bp.tf price -> bud price decreases on bp.tf.........

Sadly this only proves that this is not a "independant" market. It's a monopoly run by bp.tf and outpost. Hypocritical of me to say since I am a part of them both :/

well, independent market is an illusion, there is always some kind of regulation and the demand/offer make a pressure on it.

and the price of the keys are decided by valve, and they are our basis of currency.

The reason the price on outpost is going down is because this site keeps pushing them down. This community needs to get key prices down and buds back UP! Not down

Not that many Sellers at 21+ Keys. There are more sellers at 21 Keys than any other prices. 21 Keys>22 Keys>21-21.5 Keys

Values on this website are not meant to be all-inclusive. People will always sell above and below bp.tf values. Yes, 21.5-22 keys still happens. But so does 20-20.5. 21 legitimately seems like the most commonly traded price for buds at this time. Solid amount of proof. Thanks for taking the time to keep supplementing your proof.
