There are also lots of people valuing it as a replacement for 5 keys in trades, does that count as evidence as well and should I have included that?

More sales would be a lot better.

The sellers are also a proof of sold. Most offers are above the current price range anyway, we just choose not to sell because it is abvious that the price will raise.

That wouldn't do much to support including 6 keys in the range

I would've thought people substituting would put it in at a low price and that would confirm that 5 keys would be the low end? Or would it just confirm that they are using the current price?

I am the 5th link in Sellers, FYI I have been offered 7,5 keys in items. I got an add two days ago, but I told the dude I was waiting for the prices to raise. He retacted cuz he needed the crate right away and I believe he got one for 6 keys.

Good proof, almost impossible to get at 5 keys, trust me I know.

I like. It's amazing proof for a first suggestion (Definitely better than mine. Please. I don't want to remember my terrible key suggestion.). Keep this up (of course, a fair amount more proof) and you could just become one of those on-the-better-side suggesters like KoDiRiN and Offline(Except not. Offline is never surpassed. Offline is Offline. Or Amazing. Whatever floats the boat).

At least THIS crate has a reason to rise in price, bacon and pan still going for 9-10 keys each so worth opening, but 40? The crate itself is as expensive as the contents.

If this crate is gifted does it deduct it's value?

I don't think it does but some people will argue that it should

I think those people just jump on the bandwagon of "There was an error when you could dupe items by gifting them, ergo gifted items HAVE to be duped and therefore worth less". That was long time ago, people being scared of Valve deleting said items when they said they would not do so.

The problem is that this has grown so much that people tend to not buy gifted items just because they fear they will be harder to sell, which sadly is true.

Oh well I bought it for 3 keys so I should be able to make some profit.

There is no difference really, when you unbox it doesn't matter anyway. Both have same outpost.

Non-gifted crate only looks nicer / cleaner

Put a gifted crate + rec for clean crate. Unboxers will buy it, thats how I traded mine gifted one away.

I have a gifted one. It is more rare so I'm not selling mine for a long time. Unlike gifted unusuals and hats which can be made gifted by just wrapping them in giftwrap, there will never be anymore gifted crate 50s. But that is just my logic for keeping mine.

I sold one within 5 minutes for 6 keys. Definitely needs a raise.

I'm super pissed about this. I sold mine for 3 keys the day before they stopped dropping. Oh well, upboat.

Purchased 3 salvage 50 crates at 6 keys on Thursday ..had a job buying at 6 keys many sellers wanted more and seemed to selling well on the steam market

It would be an attempt at price manipulation if he posted only his trade and said "look, i bought one at 6 keys so the price should be 6 keys". What the intesions behind his suggestion are we are uncertain, what I am certain about, though, is that it's hard to get a crate for less than 6 keys.

His links also proove that, plus he no longer has the crate in his bp, id' say you are in the wrong here.

Yep I'm wrong. Sad to admit, but I'm just a kid who fails to read, but you must understand. Its statistics, and the rule of stats, is you never put in bias, and that's what Napolean did on the solds. He created the stats, so I just think it loses legitimacy.
