Mainly suggesting so this person stops and we can actually get a valid range with an explanation here. He has a point, in that the evidence shows 2.3 is too low.

Proof

1. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9543573 This link is interesting. Rejected an offer of 59 keys, or ~2.8 buds, but did seriously consider it. Been on the market for ages, but is a recent valid offer.

2. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14240321 c/o 2.5, buyout 2 buds 20 keys.

He paid http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13657360 2 buds + black bills + black cross comm + 5 keys + last breath + shred alert + ap-sap, or 2 + ((7 + 4 + 5 + 1 + 1.5 + 1.5)/21) = 2.88 .

3. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13395338 Sold for a searing fedora, 2.8 with overpay.

4. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13383316 sold for "some bills" + 34 keys. Assuming some bills = 2 bills, that equates to roughly 48 keys at the time, or 2.3. Considering the owner then sold it for 2.8, and had many offers above this amount, I'd say it can be considered an outlier at this point.

5. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13824493 looking for 2.5. Appears to be duped, pulling about the same offers regardless.

Conclusion

2.8 seems to be a solid averaging point with sales and offers taken into account, going ~+-10%, the range should be 2.5 - 3 , adjusted it slightly to fit with the market, being that the buyouts are 3 buds and the cheapest one is going for 2.5/offers are around 2.5. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

    solds

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/9454414 1bud and 3 white bills, so about 2 buds in this current market.

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13383316 34 keys so in this market about 1 bud and 12 keys, and some bills, but do not know how many. may have sold for around 2.4 buds: http://backpack.tf/id/76561198057640260?time=1376463600

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13395338 Sold for a searing fed-fighting fedora in BackPack.tf low end is 2.8 only sold it 4 weeks ago!

+ all your links are in current range, no proof of 3.1 or anything above 2.88, downvote

Amazing copy paste work. 1st link is 5 months old. I used the second and third link in my suggestion. 3 sales for 2.8, the buyouts have all been 3, the average should be 2.8. It rounded up to 3.1 when I did +-10%. You have how many accepted suggestions again? Pretty amateurish stuff.

oke isn't about how many suggestion i got, my point was that the last suggestion was accepted 9 days ago, not sure what range he placed because the site changes prices according to US dollars and not bud prices, sro he might have had another range, not sure, if that range was accepted then the mod agreed on it, still seeing the highest offer at 2.88, not sure where you got the 3.1 from tho.

It was still 2.3-2.9 as far as I can tell, reflects the original suggestion when it was accepted without any currency changes on the price graph in most cases

Subjectively, when calculating unusual overpay, which is what the low end is designed to do, should be .9 off the price. The average should be the price it's pulling, and the high end should be an obtainable price that people are asking for and could feasibly get, or a buyout. If the high end were to be the most reasonable sale in this case and the low end .9 of that, or 2.5-2.9, then the average would be lower than what it's just sold for/ been offered 3x in the past week (ie a lot like the previous suggestion, which also used 5 month old evidence to justify a low end), and would make no sense with the evidence. My range is really 2.52-3.08 , matches up with the b/os, the average, and what the low end is pulling, but 2.5-3 would be alright as well.

My rationale for keeping this open despite the impending refined change: I believe since this was made before the ref change was proposed, and I believe it could have been accepted before the refined change easily, should still be valid and acceptable. And even if not, 3 bud unusual, ~3% change not really going to affect it drastically enough to warrant a re suggestion. But if it was 10+ I'd probably close it anyway.

Any thoughts on what I should do with this suggestion would be helpful, the ref price bumped this up to a more acceptable range and bumped mine off a bit so idk.
