Hello!

Even though in my opinion the #50 would drop again (like #40), right now its considered rare and its price is rising.

Proof:

Lets start with sellers:

there are only 3 pages of sellers on outpost, b/o range from 6 to 8. Sellers get offers of around 6 keys, as you can see here:

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14337515 offering 6 keys +2 ref

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14031537 c/o of 6 keys

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14410481 c/o of 6 keys

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14141874 offer of 6 keys, another offer of black bill's (around 7 keys)

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14294727 offer of 6 keys

Now the buyers:

A lot of old and outdated, before the august patch that ceased the drop of #50. And also excluding bankers and quick-buyers (that go as low as 2 keys):

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14402473 buying for 6

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14409473 buying for 6

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14288231 buying for 6 keys

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14251216 buying for 5 keys + 3 ref

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14386650 buying for 5 keys + backpack expander (about 2 ref)

And here are some more buyers, for 5 keys + 1 ref:

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14371758

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14397419

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14303265

very easy to find buyers for 5 keys, found 7 trades in a couple of minutes of browsing (I can add those links in the comments, if you want), for example:

Thanks for reading,

criticism and suggestions to improve are welcome.

Upboat for now. But I'm going to be honest... This seems like too conservative of a bump. The market is clearly demonstrating flat 6 key demand. 2 legitimate quick-buyers that bought quite a few at 6 keys? Tons of closed 6 key trades, with only 2 5 key and 1 5.5 key trade in the past 24 hours? I'm almost tempted to re-suggest, I'll let you respond with your thoughts, but there is even more proof out there that has come to light in the past 24 hours that basically makes 5.5 even more obsolete then it already was a day ago. Napoleon, the guy who made the original 5-6 suggestion, for example, went out and bought multiple crate 60s for the high end of his own suggestion...

I agree with you, but since I am not an experienced backpack.tf member, nor a massive trader in tf2, i prefer making milder bumps. I set the high range as 6 keys to solidify the price, since it would make sense that if the price is 6, at least some buyers would buy for high end.

Since the proof you are talking about came to light about in the past 24 hours, I didn't have access to it, so I used the proof I had. When I was doing my research, there were not many reasonable sellers for #50, and not many reasonable buyers.

I agree that a high end of 6.5 can be better, and maybe even a low end of 6, but as I said it's somewhat uncomfortable for me to do so.

Fair enough mate. This isn't a bad suggestion, and you deserve credit for noticing the trend, but I firmly believe 6 keys is the way to go on this one. You mind if I suggest a flat 6 and we'll see which gets taken?

Alright, even though in my opinion 0.25 of a key isn't that much of a difference.

What happens if one of our suggestions is accepted? The other one is closed?

You're only suggesting .25 of a key difference from the original range in the first place :P Unfortunately yes.

Upboat, Sold 2of mine for 14keys.

As a seller I ca tell you that no one is willing to go under six keys. Considering that there is a suggestions that fits the current market scene a lot better, I think I will vote for that one.

Good proof, but downvote due to bad range suggested.

Because he suggested a flat price?

I prefer ranges, and not don't want to change the price drastically, but it is your vote.

No, because his price better represents the current scene. As I stated above, no one is willing to sell under 6 keys and even that has become hard to find.

If there are many declined offers at 6 and buyers at 6, why a range below that?

Downvote not because of bad proof, but proof that does not indicate this range

First of all, I made a slight change to the range because I don't think I should change it by a lot.

In my opinion (regarding the proof I had when I opened the suggestion, there are more/different buyers/sellers now), offers and sales of 6 proved the validity of the high edge of 6 keys, and the buyers at roughly 5.5-6 proved that the low edge should be bumped, but not to 6, because the buyers for 6 were not the majority.

Downvote. I can't even get those crates for 6keys
