It was powered by HYPE. People anticipated it rising again so much that they inflated it's value just because of hype , much like it happens in stockmarket . One person starts shouting buy this, buy this - all of a sudden everyone wants to buy it , that causes its price to rise and eventually deflate and lower to the initial price or even lower.

It only lowered because people were afraid that because the bmoc crashed that the ebenezer was going to crash so everybody quicksold it at the same time. And it crashed because bp.tf.

You couldn't be more wrong.

Backpack.tf follows the market not makes it.

And it started crashing because people started settling for the price.

Everybody started quickselling it because they were scared of it dropping in price like the bmoc. And the trades were used as proof on bp.tf and the price dropped.

Its not quick selling if they settled for the current (then) price ..

I beg to differ. Why then if you look at the BMOC graph on trade.tf does it rise and fall in tiers instead of steadily like you would expect in a normal market? http://www.trade.tf/price/666/6

Could it be because the tier levels coincide with the times of price suggestions on bp.tf? Cooincidence? You decide.

No need to decide, it's pretty obvious that backpack.tf was responsible for it. :P

That isn't always true, there have been multiple instances where bp.tf follows and possibly even anticipates some trends

Doesn't matter , outlier even if it was true and if it wasn't 2 weeks old.

Edit: In conclusion - all these people are either keeping it - or are on the wrong side of the hype train.

first link is not selling for 4, it just wants offers above 4.

it doesnt matter if the people are going to try selling it for a bills or 5 keys or something right, it matters that the others managed to sell theirs. (expect like the 3rd link, since the guy relisted lower, so either he or the guy before him made a quick loss, it was added as a sweet in a unusual trade or he got it for less.)
