http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14445553 "B/O = 5 buds" I can't find what he paid, but the last owner's pretty funny. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14342967 Have a fun read, if you've the time.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13119469 Offered 4.5 by someone who now owns one. This particular hat was bought a while ago.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13770720 My old one! Sold for somewhere from 4.5 to five (http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13131782).
This desperately needs a bump down.
I find it funny that he advises people not to use bp.tf prices, yet the price is actually too high.
Dovnvote. Sold mine for a Stormy Storm Bubble Pipe (~2.1), Harvest Moon Puglists (~3), 8 keys (~0.4), Kringle Collection and Fancy Dress Uniform (~0.1). Thats about 5.6 buds. http://imgur.com/WHnGJpS
I agree I have seen this hat sell in the 5-6bud range, and have sold it for that much before.
Please provide evidence of this claim. The next owner said that he paid 5.5 mixed (http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13856959). I'm not certain, but it doesn't look like very much pure was involved in the transaction, based on your earlier discussion with him (http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13837558). It sounds, there, as if you added pure for something else in the trade. It seems like you did approach him though, which was a rather silly trade on his part since he could've just waited to pay five instead.
Were you offered those (and therefore didn't account for over-pay) or did you offer it for those?
He offered me
This comment wasn't in response to your one. This comment was regarding what the silly trader (mentioned in my initial post) paid. Also, he says that he paid 5.5 mixed. That doesn't exceed five pure since he offered you.
The buy-out of five is from the very next seller. Unless if that current owner's intentionally selling it for a loss, the silly seller didn't sell it for more than what he considers to be five.
This is probably a little bit late, but I should also mention that the unusual values suggested here vary from currency variations. This is why pure amounts (such as a pure buy-out price of five earbuds) are generally more reliable.
Someone sold for ~5.6
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13119469 - Has an offer of C Bubble Stahlhelm (~5.22 after overpay), an offer of Ghosts Noble (~3.96 after overpay) + 25 keys (~1.2) which makes the offer ~5.16, an offer of G.E Hotrod (~2.8 after overpay) + 2 buds + 11 keys (~0.5) which makes the offer ~5.3, there might be more this is what I saw from a quick look
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13770720 - Has an offer of Electrostatic Noble (~4.68 after overpay) + Searing Plasma Football Helmet (~0.9 after overpay) which makes the offer ~5.58, an offer of Harvest Moon Brain Bucker (~5.04 after overpay) + 8 keys (~0.38) which makes the offer ~5.42
5 as a high end is too low
Who sold for ~5.6?
Stahlhelm: That value's severely outdated. http://backpack.tf/stats/616/5/39
The noble offer is very close to my higher value. It alone is not significant enough for me to change this suggestion. As for the hotrod, please see what the owner's trying to sell it for. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13881872 He's had it up for a few weeks and currently wants three buds for it.
Your next noble is two months old. You should always be very careful with new effects while they're still unstable. http://backpack.tf/vote/id/51f1c1de4bd7b87074000008 One owner wants five pure for it (http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14458691 --- "THAT'S 2.5 BUD U ARE AT THE HALF WAY " and http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14442997) while another is struggling to get any interest with a price of six pure (http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13939254), and another is struggling to quick-sell for five pure (http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13934084). The helmet's also outdated but one is available for "18-20" keys (http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14458337) so ~0.9 isn't likely to be correct.
The bucket's outdated too and is taking a while to sell for six (http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13987124).
All the unusual values you are using are not really accurate. Stahl price is old. And all the others have values artificially elevated due to changes in ref / buds. For example, the electrostatic noble original suggestion here - http://backpack.tf/vote/id/51f1c1de4bd7b87074000008 - was for a range of 4-5.4. That plus fb helm is actually 4.9 after overpay. Not 5.58.
If you look at the original suggestions for all the hats you are using, you will find a similar issue. The GE hotrod offer comes out to 5.1 and the ghosts noble to ~5. And moon brain bucket deal is ~5 after overpay (4.7-5.3 was original suggestion).
So most of those offers are actually 4.7-5 with one offer of 5.1.
My issue with this suggestion is that I'm not seeing the proof of 4.5.
My 4.5 is just simply a pure offer lower bound that caters for most of the other offers. It also caters for whatever Seppo74 paid. If you would like then I'd be happy to change it to something else. Do you think another value would be more appropriate?
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14109311 - looks like this one sold for 4.5 pure - http://backpack.tf/id/76561198001634629?time=1378018800
And there is that sale of 4.5-5 as you say. And those offers of 5 are on some hats that have been on the market for a long time which often maxes out value.
Lookey, another recent buy-out of five pure. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14223192 (Fun: Unhiding the first comment of this trade from the next owner shows that he bought it based on this outdated value. http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14309226)
