Proof below. Overpay calculated
Sales
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13331825 - Orb Fire Tyrannus = 1.6 buds
Conclusion
Seems to be the only solid, recent & traceable sale :/ Idk, any help's good. Vote accordingly.
Help / Constructive Criticism / Additional Proof / Counter-Proof is ALWAYS welcome! >;3
Hmmm....

You need 2 sales + you didn't count the unusual overpay
1. This is an exception to that rule, explained in the conclusion.
2. The Capotain was offered on the Tyrannus, so you would take the mid price instead of using overpay.
Thanks for the feedback, but I got it covered ;)
Hmm, I usually reversed the overpay when it was used to buy another unusual. Should I change that?
What do you mean by reversed the overpay? Gimme an example :/
For example I'm pricing A and A was used to buy/offer on B. I would have taken the mid price of B and multiplied it by 10/9. It's just what I did but I have no idea if it's correct. Either way it should be quite close on low-tier unusuals.
Meh, Im not sure but I just take mid price ^.^ I see some logic though. If it works for you, then sure.
This hat does not fall into the exception category.
The rule was designed to be for all new hats because any single sale can be an outlier, especially when the hat is initially traded. You'll need to wait for another defined sale.
Exceptions to the rule are hats that have been on the market for a year+ and have had time for market equilibration. In those cases, the hat has been around for a while and if there is only a single sale in many months, an exception can be made.
