This hat is getting offers worth much less then the suggested price.
Proof:
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14290628 Buyout of 2 buds 5 keys.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/12135814 Highest pure offer is 2 (offered it twice).
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13642036 Current offer of 2 buds.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13852928 Buyout of 2 buds.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13881827 Offered 30 keys (1.5 buds).
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13229570 Bought for 1 bud 12 keys and an Ap-Sap.
You can't base an unusual price based on B/Os and offers when lowering a price. There will always be people looking to buy for cheaper and sellers looking to get higher. Bad proof, I'm sorry.
Actually you can lower prices based on B/Os.
Oh yeah, my bad, was writing it quickly and made a mistake :/ Can't lower based on offers, can't raise based on B/O. Thanks for pointing it out.
this is a downvote for me because you only have one link that is proof (number 4 and 6.
the first link; has only been on the market 2 days and the buyout is the exact middle of the current range
the second link: has had an offer of a max which is 2.2 buds
the third link: he turned down 2 buds which means he thought he could get more, plus I don't think c/o's can be used to set a lower price, higher maybe, but lower it seems illogical.
4th: good
5th: I still don't think offers can be used to lower the price of a hat, if I offered 20 keys on a burning TC it'd still be an offer it just wouldn't be legit proof
6th: good
please feel free to argue :D i'd like to have my mind changed
1st: Since the buyout is in the current range, shouldn't people be buying it then? Normally B/O's are priced at more than the current price, thus meaning no one is buying for the mid of the current price.
2nd: It was offered 2 months ago and was hidden, no proff that it actually sold for a Vivid Jeepcap.
3rd: C/O's can promote lower prices. They show that people are not willing to pay the current price and promote a lower price suggestion.
5th: If you offer 20 keys on a Burning TC, you offer is not legit. If you offer 30 keys on this hat, your offer is legit. 30 keys is a close enogh price to the current suggestion to be considered, especially since one sold for 1 bud 12 keys and an Ap-Sap.
My logic^
The buyout in the current range could just be the seller being competitive in the market. And the c/o of 30 keys can be counterred by the fact that he's been offered a 2 bud unusual (blizzard ballcap). When the c/o isn't the highest valued offer should it still set a price? And I'm 100% positive that the jeep cap didn't sell for the Max, I was just saying he "had an offer".
And on another note why should c/os be able to dictate a price? We're trying to find what people are buying these items for not what they're offering. The fact that he hasn't accepted 30 keys should expel it from the range, not promote it. However you have convinced me this item needs a drop :P
