I sold it for 73 keys, and the guy was still hesitant on taking it: http://imgur.com/0784FJi,eb69LGf#1
This hat is deffinately not worth 6.1.
You can't lower a price based on offers on the trade unless they're accepted. Offers are almost always lower than current price.
Yeah, but the offers they are getting are no where near the current price and you base prices off of offers.
Doesn't matter about that, offers below the current price don't count at all when you're trying to lower the price of anything. If people offer 3 buds for an item you own that has a value of 5 buds, does that mean we should change the value of your item? Although your proof of buying and selling does count, the offers do not validate anything.
I dont understand why C/O's don't mean anything. If multiple people are offering the same price range, then they should count. It's a new effect, so the current price isnt accurate anyway. It sold for a Robo effect which is unstable also and the price was accepted off of 1 link of proof.
C/O's don't count because 9 out of 10 offers for an unusual are lowballs or under current price. Like I've said, your buy and sell links do count, it's just that you can't use offers when you're trying to lower a price since everyone offers lower to get a better deal, unless they actually are buying the hat to use it.
Well the B/O on op for this hat is 6.2, obviously just because of the backpack.tf price. It took a LOT of work to get this out of my back pack for two thirds of the suggested value. I guess since this is a new hat, it is pretty difficult to find legitimate proof, but this is all I can work with for now and I know by experience that this is worth much less.
Also take in mind that people usually aren't jumping to buy unusuals often. So only 1 week is somewhat fast to sell an unusual, especially at a higher price like this.
I understand that it seems like a fast sale, but it was only "fast" because I was "quickselling" for 3.5ish. It shouldnt take a week to get 3.5 for a supposedly 6.1 bud hat. If it is truly 6.1 and i'm selling it for 3.5, it should sell instantly, not take a week to sell for half price.
Exactly, that's where your buy/sell links come in. What I'm saying is that the offers just don't matter much, and that the buy/sell links are what's going to make or break the suggestion.
People on Outpost lowball. It's a fact, they rarely offer you full price.
It took me a week+ to sell mine on trade servers for 73 keys, it's not outposts lowballs, it's this hats overprice.
Sure u saw a guy offered on my crown a vivid plasma phantom. How are u so certain that he's not gonna add? his actual offer was phantom+keys to make up to 6.2 buds ish. The guy added me and talked to me in private and said he'll try hard to get the keys. So yeah 6.2 buds offer, what else have u got to say?
I'm sorry I offended you because your hat is inflated. I can only use offers as they are presented on the trade. Plus he doesn't have the keys yet anyway so it is exactly valid.
I offer 2 buds for your Purple Energy Dapper's Topper. Hurr Durr, better go lower the price.
Except these offers are legit, plus I have legitimate proof that I myself sold it and bought it for 3.5-4.
Except you just now edited that sale in.
I had that sale up there to begin with, I just edited in the 3 buds 15 keys one. I just now put up the pictures on my sale cause I went to go take them.
Baloo mad that crowns be fallin'
it's worth noting that the hat was accepted at 5.4 before the currency suggestions raised the price
Lower offers out weigh the one time sale of 5.4 before it was priced.
And it didnt sell for 5.4, it sold for 5.4 in a robo effect unusual with an unstable price.
I wasn't trying to disprove your range. I was pointing out that it isn't as large as a drop as it appears.
Just telling you, this suggestion isn't going to get passed. :c
It may, it may not. I understand it is a big drop and everyone is freaking out, but the current price was accepted off of just one sale. One sale is not enough proof to overprice a hat. I have proof of a sale of 3.5 and 3.3 plus offers of that range to go along with it.
i have this unusual and i bought it for my blizz crones dome if he added a 3 buds worth unusual . dont try to set down the price , if you just show us the offers..
party phantom is a misk unusual .
i just can find it for 5 on outpost so..
and bouth sellers declined this offer. so this unusual should be 3.5 buds ?? you lowball man..
good luck to buy this unusual for 3.5 buds again :)
what did the first link sell for?

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14588861 - appears to have sold for h.moon brain bucket (5.5-6, old price): http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,1964421227,434,5
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14043896 - sold for could9 helmet (3.5) + mem leak ballcap (2.3-3.2): http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14149591
Yes, the old price on this hat is a bit too high. However, suggested price is too low, based on these sales. Your experience may have been an outlier.
