I don't really see how http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198002055092 buying and selling S. Misc items on the community market is "hoarding every single [one] of them". They only have about 75 in the their backpack now which is like .4% if you consider only existing Chem Sets (~17,300) .

xago (the OP of my spuf link) has about the same amount in their backpack (77 chem sets/strangifiers) and bought/kept that based solely on the speculation that they stopped dropping. Both him and Steven Bogda from spuf haven't got a Chem Set drop since 9/2 and Bogda idles multiple accounts every day.

I'm not going to try to argue that this ❤Skapaneas❤ character is or isn't trying to manipulate prices but I will stand by my speculation that the desirable Strange Misc items are rising because they have stopped dropping. Many/most of the cheap chem sets have been used up so the supply up for trade is plummeting but there is still decently strong demand there for the good misc items.

manipulating and collecting are 2 different things i collect them cause i knew those will be rare drops and they where designed to rise.

i have warned you and everyone else on your past suggestion that if you price the strange miscs lower than my selling strangifier prices i was going to use that profit advantage to buy them back,the fact that the strange miscs are now marketable is something that I wasn't expect but it is a very nice thing cause i dont have to suffer lowballs i can wait to sell my stocks on their peak.

Chem sets: even if they drop or not the 90% requires a 5-40 keys input that is why the actuall miscs are so rare and so expensive,the cheap ones will be crafted first then the demand and offer will rise the rest of them.

the only think I said it was finally valve designed an item that is doomed to a never ending rise in prise.. and before you know it to craft a strange festive scatter gun to a strange robro it will be profitable.especially if valve is after to expand their Grey science thing and release festive strangifiers at Christmas.

chemistry sets are made for 3 main reasons

1 To consume ref and limit strange (weapons) into high value items that will consume or force into circulation more keys,

limiting the strange wepons

2 cap the ref to keys price and rarify unique hats to force sells in steam store cosmetics

3 more Uncrate (but how):After the 1* and 2* in some point you wont be able to trade a cheap strange to craft what you want force ppl to consume keys for to unbox or consume MvM tickets to get the incredients they are after.

side effects: more unusual hats in the market also cheaper too/

less unique hats / a steady key to ref currency/

And of course even more profit for valve.

So please stop blaming me for collecting a digital item

and as much for the prices I am selling concerned I am licensed by valve to sell in the price of my likes depending the demand and offer for it

i am to judge if the time to sell the items I own is now or in the future for more or less pofit that will be depend by the demand in the market and not your suggestions I trade before the tf2 spreadsheet and before bp.tf and i will continue to do so and after any new 3rd party price site comes along in the way.
