Its unknown actually which person offered for the other, but since bladey went on to go and try to resell the Birdcage while the buyer, Donastre, has not tried to resell the Crown. It is most likely that Donastre was the one to offer the trade to bladey.

Conclusion:

While a duped Hearts Kabuto sells more around ~5 buds, 5.5 buds is a better value for the deal in order to accommodate for possible sweets.
