Hey first real price suggestion here, try not to bash me too hard.

First off, This hat is shown as of 10/7/2013 as being 1 of 2 as seen here

http://backpack.tf/unusuals/30099/Pardner%27s_Pompadour

I bought it from original unboxer, and he stated that he would prefer steam wallet funds directly as he didn't trust paypal, and didn't want to go through selling buds.

We agreed on doing the transaction through steam market, in which he listed for $125 USD (steam tax = $138)

The only other version of this hat/effect is currently on tf2outpost.com

with a B/O of 7.5, here

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14801140

So far the best it's been offered is a Burning Bonk Helm+Bubbling Bonk Boy.

That equals 8~8.5, so there is some definite overpay in there.

Before that, this guy had it with a B/O of 2

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14522704

I could not find an outpost link with the original unboxer for that hat.

I have also listed mine on outpost here with a B/O of 10

http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14790411

Listed just to show off, I don't plan on selling it and that's why my B/O is high.

question where does 5 come from ? And you cant set price for 6 buds when the hat was with b/o of 2 buds and you bought it for ~3.7

      you also need 2 sales

There are 2 sales there, mine through steam market and the one that was bought (supposedly) at 2 buds

You need two sales to make a range, if one is an outlier than you need a 3rd one, and so on.

I suggested 5 because looking at any other Engineer hat with n&b, they're always more expensive than other hats with that effect. It's a simple theme everyone can understand, and for that reason this hat should easily be a stable 5.For example, Brainiac Hairpiece with n&b http://backpack.tf/unusuals/590/Brainiac_Hairpiece

Brainiac is a god tier misc

Even ten gallon nnb is 2.2

          http://backpack.tf/stats/94/5/31

Brainiac being god-tier or not is opinion based. Not all people like to use them in their engie loadouts.

You have to support it with proof, not your own opinion either.

My point is, not just over the Brainiac hairpiece, but n&b is a popular (more expensive) effect on engineer unusuals. Look at any other engineer hat with n&b and compare it to the prices of other class hats and anyone can see it costs more.

I just gave you the price of nnb ten gallon, 3rd most expensive hat according to bp.tf for engineer. 2.2 buds. How is this so much higher than that and even the brainiac, the most expensive engineer unusual?

CrimsonWarlord, if you look there is at least 33 n&b ten gallon that exist/sold for that price (2.2), you just aren't looking at the fact that it's a new hat. I'm sure the ten gallon had it's high range when it was new, the prices are all based off supply/demand.

I'm just not convinced. In every unusual suggestion you must have proof to back up both high end and low end of the range.

Highest ever price for ten gallon was 3.75 btw (original price)

You dont suggest base off some other unusual you suggest it over proof

Not basing it off Brainiac or any other engineer hat, basing it off the effect. I used the brainiac as an example as it was first in the unusual list.

Also, its a new hat, where only 2 exist. That is as much proof as I could find over sales for this hat so far.

          "Burning Batter's Helm+Bubbling Bonk Boy.

          That equals 12~14"

          How? Also, he wasn't offered a Batter's Helm... It's a Bonk Helm.

Easily misread that, ill change so there's no confusion. Thanks for catching that, I reviewed this several times before posting.
