The current price is 1 month old. Much has changed since the current price was accepted.

And I recently unboxed a shitty unusual, so I don't care about my backpack value any more.

This suggestion is for unpainted strange summer shades. Offers that include gift wrap will be taken as they are - offers that ask the owner to provide wrap will have 1 key deducted from them due to the expense of the owner having to buy wrap making the offer less desirable.

I guess the hypes quite over now for these strange miscs.

Yeah it's bizarre though, because some of them such as the archimedes are rising quickly. I started gathering proof in an attempt to raise my backpack, because I thought the shades would follow the archimedes but I ended up finding willing sellers at 8 keys.

hype has nothing to do with the price in the strange miscs

they where selling for cheap at the beginning because the first chemistry sets where crafted by cheap inputs.

the chem sets didn't stop to get crafted even when the inputs left where the high cost ones ppl is still willing to pay .

They will stop craft them when the demand drops that will always keep a ballance between offer and demand and will force them to a limited offer on a never ending rise in price.

summer shades is the only misc not marketable and that alone is enough to doom them in a lowball fight in trade sites where ppl expect them to act like the rest of the mannconomy strange items and drop quick to rise slow.

Seems fair enough, though I hope Valve finds a way to fix the chem sets. The chemsets should have at least like summershades chem set 1 wherein it is defined which items are required, etc, etc. People getting their strangifers for really cheap inputs and later on sellin' it for a higher price is somethin' envious :P

i don't see any problem by valves side

the chem sets are very clearly state what are the inputs needed

you can browse the market to see the prices on the strangifiers and miscs.

it is up to traders to judge if to craft them is profitable or not.

if it isn't profitable the supply will be limited if it is profitable the supply will get bigger.

The price is rising in most cases because of the huge demand and the limited supply.

and i don't think that those miscs are able to drop in price.

as for the very cheap inputs chem sets dont worry theres almost none cheap as we speak to buy sell or craft. chemistry sets are crafted by us crafters in zones the chem sets that are not profitable to craft yet they are stored

until the supply stops and the prices rise

Thanks, didn't catch that one as I only looked for unpainted ones. I know offers usually don't help, but I couldn't find many sales or buyers, so I thought this was a good way to show what buyers are willing to pay.

I think the way to guarantee an item's price dropping is me buying it... it happened with an unusual I bought, it happened to all the festives I bought, and now this. Blegh.

Anyway, looks like the proof is there. I'll vote up.

It just seems bizarre that someone would buy one for 9 keys when there are some on the market for 7 and 8 keys... I called it an outlier because that trader must have got lucky.

Well the amount of sellers at 8 keys, painted or not kind of discredits 9 keys from the range. There are very few sellers asking for 9 keys, and most shades are painted making it harder to price them. Some more proof:

Why is every comment I post with extra proof being downvoted? I'm enhancing my suggestion, and not only can no-one provide any counterproof whatsoever, but they also downvote my legitimate proof. There needs to be a minimum IQ to participate in price voting on this website.
