Don't base prices on quicksells.

If they don't sell in like a week and a half, sure, but this close to halloween, quickselling something that large is hard because a) pure is king and b) people are paranoid about moons being rereleased.

That's kind of my point, at 30buds, that trade is 3-4weeks old so it isn't selling at that price. But at the same time you can get one for 18 buds and it's not even listed as a quicksell.

18 is a quicksell. it still fetches no less than 23, and 3 weeks isn't a lot of time on high tier stuff.

the hazmat wasnt actually 34-39. It was artificial caused by an issue in the way the site stores prices. Realistically the hazmat is more around 30 tops.

with overpay you can call it 30 but thats still a 25 bud sale

Old price of the brainiac was 17-18 buds but with halloween in front of the door and the possible re-release I think 14-15.6 buds is about right.

Misty Cannon and C9 Headsplitter are more like ~28 taking into account original non-inflated prices + it was offered on the whole set (without the other parts it's ~24) - obvious outlier

Disco Gym Rat is unpriced, it doesn't seem likely it can fetch anything near 3 either.

Anyway, Muffs are actually ~10

So 13 + Gym Rat's price

TW Lucha is also unpriced, and is most likely somewhere from the 8-9 bud range

Tyrant's is actually 12

12 + 9 - 6 = 15

the most reasonable unusual offers on the tyrants are 15 buds ontop of the lucha which is a solid 8, 21 with overpay

finally, I bought it as a quicksell which in reference to the offers is void

The cash offers are no valid proof because they have not enough rep or they should turn it into buds and buy it. Also with a guy willing to sell for 18 they won't pay the 1000$ now. As polar bear said in the last suggestion, if you sell for 1000$ or 30 buds, feel free to suggest it.

One of those $1000 offers fizzled out because the guy had no rep and when asked to buy $1000 worth of buds, disappeared. That shouldn't be considered valid proof of anything besides and offer that wasn't accepted and didn't go anywhere.

If you're going to consider the $1000 offer as the high end then you should also consider the low end offers. You don't to anything but highball you and your friends hats and lowball everyone else's.

More like price fixers. A friend of Vince's was trying to buy one of my hats. His friend didn't like the fact that I told him his hat was only worth 14buds as I could buy one for that. He told me a few minutes later that he heard my hat was about to be price dropped. The next day, they dropped the price on me. Double standards and price fixing. That's how these guys roll.

They won't accept quicksell prices to dictate the prices of their own hats, but turn around and use quicksell prices against other peoples hats.

But this is how backpack.tf works, there's nothing new to me. It always was like that. Personally, I'm still lurking on bp.tf just to have fun looking at those pricing experts idiotically raiding other people's trades and calling it "trolling".

As I said already the current price (18-24 buds) set 4 months ago is probably the right price for this hat. You can buy it with 18 pure and can sell it for ~20+ in unusuals.

The suggested price here is too low, so I'm closing this. I'm happy enough with 18-24 though which is the current price (if the inflated 23-30 bud price is bugging you, feel free to suggest ~18-24).
