    Unusual prices on backpack.tf are stored in USD, so whenever ref, keys, or buds change in price, the values for the unusuals change automatically. As a result, high-tier unusuals, whose prices involve a lot of ref, keys, and buds, get overpriced on the site. By using the original values, we can avoid the overpricing of unusuals caused by basing suggestions upon the overpriced unusual prices on the site.

      I realized that, forgot to remove it from my notes from a couple of days ago :3. Initially I thought it meant you had to use the very first prices where the suggestions were like "this seems reasonable", but now I know that it's the price of the items during the time of the trade
