Suggestion: Scotch Bonnet at 3–3.33 ref

Conclusion : Nowadays 1.44 and even 2.00 seems like a quicksell now , there are plenty of buyers willing to offer more than that .. and surprisingly its quite a rare hat now so the market isnt vast to continue doing more research so I will just stay rather conservative and make a range beetween the offers.

Lol I found this hat a while back. Never traded it cause I thought it was a pretty good hat. As mush as I'd like to upvote, I don't think theres enough proof for 3+ ref. I'd suggest trying a little lower.

Youre right, theres less than one whole page atm, but most offers were around 1.66. Seems to be popular among the other hats in those trades, but I wouldnt say its worth a whole 3 ref just yet.

if there are even buyers at 3.33 , and 2.66 why would 1.66 offers should be taken in count? they are clearly from quickbuyers triying to get some profit for it.

Even so, there arent really many buyers at your upper end. The O Maybe try suggesting a range of something like 2.33-2.66 or 2.66-3. I just don't think 3.33 is supported very well. Seems more like those offeres are more like outliers.

Looks like it was a level 99 scotch bonnet. It is very rare but some people pay more for levels, I sold a level 99 uncraft team captain for a key.

i tried buying this hat via Outpost, Bazaar and here, i had no luck finding people accepting the hat for 2 ref or lower and there were bidding wars, i did get it off of Warehouse for 1.67 though, so i will admit, this thing is a bitch to buy off of players

Just saying, this as unusual is considered Low-tier for demo because is a hideous hat, how can this worth the double than Hustler's or Bicorne? I believe this is "rare" because people already used most of them to craft, also on outpost it's IMPOSSIBLE to buy specific 1.33refs craft hats for that price, the only way is using those Hat banking sites

Prediction of what will happen to this item:

1. Few sellers on outpost made buyers think that this is rare.

2. Sellers start selling this for a high price and buyers buy them because they think its rare. Hype is created.

3. Suggestion is made and approved here at backpack.tf

4. MORE sellers (who initially wasn't aware of the hype) start to sell their scotch bonnet for this high price, flooding the market.

5. Eventually, the hype will die down, and market is now flooded with this item with less buyers, because it is now easily obtainable and no one will be willing to pay a high price for it anymore because they realised that this isn't rare at all.

6. Price drops back to where it was before.

This happened to most of the uncraftable hats and miscs back then. At first, you'll only see one or 2 selling on outpost. But once the hype is created, making an item look rare, the market will eventually be flooded with it. Ppl are like that. Upvote btw :3
