its possible to estimate the prices of unpriced unusuals based on the b/os and offers received on it.

i would have priced it if the only sale other than this one on it within like 2 months wasn't instantly sold at 8 buds.

you have to use original values for suggestions, since the current values are inflated due to the drop of buds

that cannonball offer seems like a strong outlier to me, its about 23 after overpay, but he was willing to do the same offer for an aces KE(in his trade http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15068242 ) which is 17.8 after overpay

Aren't the prices of unusuals tied to real world money though? The drop in the price of buds lowers the price of buds not unusuals so the adjustment bump in unusual prices is justified isn't it? If basing it on the original suggested prices of offered unusuals before the change of buds then you are pricing it in buds where buds were worth more than they are now which would result in actually pricing it below its true current price.

Hmm I see... that would mean that unusual prices are completely tied to an arbitrary number of buds, where it doesn't matter what buds are worth at all. Doesn't make sense at all since unusuals are supposed to be based on money. Another note if you take the misty cannonball + gifted burning ten gallon example, he got this offer but then we are pricing the gbh one below the misty one where it obviously isn't. Doing it that way is going to screw with the relative prices of unusuals which is probably the most important thing in pricing them. Not trying to argue with you, just saying.

In reality, only unusuals like burning TC and NOH are based off of $money.
