what's wrong with the "http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15001041 -> How in the fuck?" ? I don't see anything wrong, the crate was untradable because he got it from an untradable pallet that came from unboxing a fall crate with an untradable key, actually that Reserve crate is now tradable
Oh I see. I just had no idea how you could end up with an untradable crate.

poor guy :(
I know...
He unknowingly threw himself into the shark-infested waters of Autpost
Feel so bad for him!
Hope the guys trying to buy it will know how it feels one day.
Sad, he is new to trading I believe. He will regret it one day or it could be that he just wanted to get rid of the crate and does not care how much he receives from the buyer.
He didn't know what he had. He is in denial right now after selling that for nothing. Look at his pack. He spent the scrap on some weapons. :(
must confess i also mixed up this crate with a yellow summer cooler when it came out. It was just a raffle though
Funny thing: I told him what he lost and he didn't give a fuck.
Maybe because for him tf2 is just a game?
That's what it should be, an FPS!
that crate was resold 3 times after that
Not poor guy.
He's a idiot.
I can't open it,what he traded for?
He traded a Select Reserve Crate #60 for a scrap, lol
He-he " You know it's getting bad when Michael Puddington is selling for LOWER than the suggested price " - what is wrong or bad ? Michael can buy or sell at any price, what he likes .
I meant that this crate must be severely overpriced, since Michael always sells at above market price : http://i.imgur.com/H91hBdg.png
Yes I can understand you.
But Michael just an angel , in comparison with those what excretes Mr. Bucket :

Sorry for off top
WOW, he must be crucified. (Mr. Bucket, not Michael)
How about my trade?
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15147477
checked some unsolds @ 3, many are barely or not bumped, some have been sold
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15119791 sold
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15138782 sold, not in BP
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15112889 sold, not in BP
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15102942 sold (gifted by gabe newell, should be worth 10keys..)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15132966 sold 2.8
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14944199 sold, not in BP
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15131428 sold, not in BP
There is no proof of them actually selling it for 3 keys though. For all we know they could have been sold for 2 keys.
If we dont rely on whats written in trades, we couldnt price anything (mostly)
Yeah, but you can't go off trade alone. There has to be evidence the buyer was willing to pay the price or else its not solid evidence. If you noticed most of the trade were closed without offers. This could mean they gave up and traded on a trade server for less. I've actually open up a suggestion before and used links including trader that had sold there trade with no offer or an added text. When I got in contact with the trader themselves however they ended up selling for lower then the price they stated (even the ones that said "only this price").
I think ~90% of my trades have been done without any commenting/offers
Well like i said I contacted the trader (there were only a few) so I had to close the suggestion because the information i had was false. If i hadn't the suggestion i made might have gotten pass (doubt it though because of ugly range). All I'm saying is it would be more convincing to show trades with actually offer or buyer agreeing to a pay certain price.
Of note, when I suggested 2.5 flat in the last suggestion (as opposed to 2.5-2.7), there were a lot on classifieds for 2.5. They seem to have vanished? I'll let another mod decide here.
yea i checked their bp before since i was interested. they were old and sold already.
should always check
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15209101 - selling for 2 keys + 2 ref
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14449417 - selling a lot at 2.5
Some of those 3 key ones are sold though... maybe a range would be better here?
I agree, a range like 2.5-2.7 would be the best here
And to think I sold this thing for 7.5 the first time it dropped on me... I AM A LUCKY SUCKER >:D
No, you're a person that sold it when that was its price. It's not luck.
And you're also a person that posted an unnecessary comment that is universally considered spam.
On-topic, I'm staying neutral as there is a clash of opinions and I don't know where I stand in the latter.

these guys have infinite stock -.-
Just some counter proof for from my own recent experiences with the #60 crate.

I know it's only two sales but it only took me a couple hours to a day~ to sell them.
I noticed that a lot of your proof appears to be unbumped, this seems to be pretty prevalent when it comes to pricing suggestions. In my opinion though it shouldn't matter if the trade has been been open for five days with no buyers if it was never bumped/very infrequently bumped.
I checked up how many keys you would get if you sold this on steam marketplace and bought a key including discounts. The result i got was 2.44 key :)
if the price would be determined by that. it would go by how much it was bought at not sold.also there is a tool already for that, you would use this http://backpack.tf/market
and looking at the past sale for past few days they are at 6.80-7.80
which is pretty much the current range 2.7-3 keys
but this is about actual key sales.
and i buy a lotttttttt at 2.4 keys
this needs a range
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15243047 - selling for 2 keys
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15242736 - selling for 2.5 keys
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15232723 - selling for 2.5 keys
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15231111 - unsold at 2.7 keys
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14052116 - selling for 2.5 keys
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/15193823 - unsold at 2.7 keys
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14384470 - bought a few at 2 keys
Sales at 3 ref are very slow, and one can get this pretty easily at 2.5 keys. I'll accept this suggestion because it's better than the old price.
